My parents were kinda like that but they knew each other for awhile before. My mom was best friends with my dad’s older sister and my aunt asked my mom if she wanted to go up to Jacksonville to pick my dad up after a deployment (he was Navy). Well one of my dad’s shipmates was retiring and wanted to try out for the NFL so my dad was helping him workout. My mom says when she saw my dad on the pier all muscly, she fell in love. Six months later they got married and 9 months after that I was born. And they just celebrate 25 years together.
