I'm really interested on how hard it was to install a 3sgte into an ae86 given the issues with that type of job. I have aspirations of installing one myself but it seems too labour intensive/high cost. So if there are work arounds or if you spared no expense

hey nice build what did u do to the carburetor because I have a ae92 corolla and would like to put a 4age twin cam 16 valve in mines and the coversion from carburetor to efi
Deo, the car is running a Haltech stand alone ECU which is controlling the efi on the 3S engine. You have many options for your conversion, check out Megasquirt ECUs.

i know its now kinda late. But i really wanna do that swap too. But everyone says me. The 3sgte must be angeld to the side. Because the oil will starve. What did you do on your engine. And which transmission did you use? And do you have a custom adapterplate for the transmission? Thank you mate
This is a friends car, If i remember correctly it was a RWD 3S oil pan from a Toyota Altezza with a W58 Series Transmission with some Bell housing from a Toyota Minivan with a 3Y engine.

Hey, nice vid. Quick question, is the engine a 3sgte or a 3sge plus a turbo? In the first video you said it has an altezza motor which would be a 3sge and not a 3sgte.
Thanks, from what I remember because it's a friends car. ( he was talking) its an Aletzza motor (RWD) so its a GE with a turbo.

What kind of transmission use? I want to do a swap like that one.

Can you use an oil pan from a beams 3sge so it can sit upright?
He used the oil pan from a BEAMS 3SGE Altezza Engine.
