- Using cricut to make this personalized photo t-shirt. Using the print then cut feature for the picture with printable heat transfer vinyl and the design space text feature and Cricut every day iron on for the wording. I was happy to make these fun personalized t-shirts for my dear friend to celebrate her daughters graduation. I hope you enjoy.

Oh yay! You are going to love it. One thing I am finding are use an iPad, because it’s easier for me. However I used my daughters Mac last night and there are so many more things you can do on a computer as opposed to an iPad. But I am always discovering new things To use my Cricut for!

You can do a lot with your smart phone also. I do use both my phone and iPad a lot. Mostly I use my iPad. Good luck friend ❤️
You can print from your smartphone, you need the sublimation printer 😬😁

Question, I used this paper and ink but after i wash my shirt it turns green, it lose the colors and turn dark green . Why?? Did i miss anything?

Good morning friend, I used an ink jet printer and the shirt is a Cotten blend.
Are u printing the photo onto that paper with the red lines?

Amazing video. When I am trying to print pictures on transfer paper the ink is wet. Is there any advice you can give me on that?
Thank you, first make sure the type of printer is correct for the printable you are using. This printable works with an ink jet printer. If you are compatible like that I would just set it aside a few minutes to dry (I would not suggest any artifice drying it may ruin your vinyl) I’ve fortunately not had that problem with my printer. so do you only need the cricut to cut around the photo? if i want the full photo and background, do i have to use the cricut or can i just use transfer paper and printer, then the ironing?
Yes the cricut is just to clean up. If you want full photo just print with your printer.

Just to put it out there, I noticed you mirror printed the picture. That’s an important point if you have a text or logo.

This is a printable heat transfer paper, it uses a regular ink jet printer. I got this pack from Walmart.
Ok is the transfer paper when it transfers to the material more like a vinyl filling or is it infused into the material
This one is more like a vinyl, it’s Basically a thin printable vinyl

That was the simplicity vintage collection, that was the sewing machine cover, they did have aprons I think? It’s from Joanne fabric last year.

How did you get the cricut to cut around the picture and not just the box?
Every time I do this it only cuts out the box.
So when you put it in design space, go in and clean around the edges up to where you want it to cut.
Let me know if that does not make sense.

Ok is your printer an ink jet? I know most of the printable materials require the printer to be ink jet. I do not have to set my printer on any special setting, I just print normal on the printable iron on. That’s why I’m wondering ?

Yes I wash in cold, picture stays in place

I'm so confused. Did you print the picture on vinyl or on paper
For this I Used a printable iron on, I bought a pack at Walmart they have different ones for light fabric and dark fabric, I got a pack that has a combination. I put the sheets in my printer printed on them and then iron them onto the shirt.

This is printable heat transfer vinyl. I got it at Walmart. Printed in my printer ink jet then used Cricut print then cut to around it

Yes the printing cut feature is available with the Cricut air.
Can you use a sublimation printer for this
Yes, And Do the whole project is sublimation.
Can I do this with a Explore?
Yes you absolutely can’t it is printing cut. You can buy printable iron on from any of your craft stores or you can get it at Walmart. If you were doing light color fabric using light color printable iron on them make sure you mirror your image. If you are doing dark color fabric using dirt color printable iron on that you do not mirror your image. But this works great with your explore.
If you use the light transfer one then you need to mirror it. You can tell it’s not the same as when she first started, the picture was facing the other way.
Yes the light transfer needs to mirror and the dark transfer does not. Something like this just the face if you accidentally forget to mirror it’s not gonna make a big difference. But yes definitely mirror for light because you were putting it face down two iron, and then the dark you were putting face up To iron that is why you do not need to mirror.
@@themostcraftynurse3914 Yes. The picture on the tee is flipped horizontally from the original photo. The easy fix is to flip the picture on the computer before printing. Our faces are not symmetrical. Therefore, the resulting picture on this tee doesn't look like the actual girl; it looks like the image of the girl in a mirror. Still, I enjoyed the video !!!
do you mirror the image?
If you are using printable iron on for light yes if you are using for dark than no. On this one yes I did. ( there are separate types for light and dark)

Hello friend, sorry for the late reply I’ve just been working a lot. I use an HP inkjet, I picked it up on Amazon a few years ago kind of the middle of the road printer as far as price and it works well.
So this is not a sublimation printer?

Hi friend, I apologize for my late answer I’ve been working so much. I use a HP ink jet printer from Amazon middle of the road I bought a few years ago and it works good.
Can I use any printer ?
Yes but make sure you have printable iron on compatible to your printer, like I have an inkjet printer and this printable vinyl is for a chat printers if you have a laser printer get printable iron on vinyl for laser printers.

You print on the vinyl, yes.
Does the image have to be an SVG?
No it does not. For this I took a photo put it in design and turned into png
