- Aangezien ik het zo'n verdomd mooi nummer vind, en vind dat iedere Rotterdammer de tekst moet kennen. en speciaal voor de buitenlanders: ook met de vertaling in het Engels. Mijn Engels is bar slecht, dus opmerkingen zijn welkom!

Vertaling is verschrikkelijk. Nummer is prachtig.
Maar wel het mooiste nummer over Rotterdam dat ik kan! of Ken? Ken het dat ik he kan?
De Meent kruist de Coolsingel niet, het is de van Oldenbarneveldstraat aan de andere kant.
En dan rustig het Mooie Jugendstill pand van JÜngerhans aan de lijnbaan effe slopen. Vorige maand , Hoe is het mogelijk he?

Ze zeggen rotstad omdat anderen kunnen zeiken over rotterdam en zij kunnen het een rotstad noemen, maar ze bedoelen juist te zeggen dat zij het absoluut geen rotstad vinden.
Dus met de gedachte: "jij mag het dan wel een rotstad noemen, dat is aan jou, maar als het een rotstad is, dan is het nog wel verdomme onze rotstad. In onze ogen is rotterdam schitterend dus waar bemoei je je mee."
