- We start off our Turkey season in Nebraska with friend, Cody Freeze! Shawn, Trent, and Derek all have tags in their pocket and both Shawn and Trent have never harvested a Gobbler in the state! With it being the earliest season opening sometimes the birds like to stay grouped up which can make for some very interesting hunts! See how the HB guys get it done with these tough conditions!

I have been bow hunting for 50 years. I have hunted elk to groundhogs. The only thing I have not tried is turkey hunting. Please tell me what I would need to do this.
How are you hunting turkey in Nebraska? The archery season doesn't open until the 25th of March...
This was last year, we didn’t hunt until April 1st

What kind of blinds do you guys use for these turkey hunts?
This hunt was just some branches we built up.
Sometimes we will carry a Fast Strike that allows you to place branches in it to build up a make shift natural blind.

Man I've been in turkey hunter for a long time and yes after you shot one and he goes to flopping what's yours was not head straight up and you let him get mutilated by the rest of that's a bad representation of a turkey do you want to count beards and Spurs that was wrong of you man
Second turkey, got pecked around bc he couldn’t walk. Had to be shot again off video

Actually smart one he was thinking because the guy that owns the farm might want to hunt them so he didn’t spook the turkeys.
