Thanks Jansen, some great tips, especially behind the TV. Also, where did you find the wallet organizer & tabs at 12:19? What were your categories? I tried to pause the video but it was too blurry to read those tabs. Now that my 4 children are older, 2 college grads, 1 away at college and 1 living home attending a local college, I am in the process of FINALLY getting organized. I walked through my house & on a Notes App I created a checklist of what organizing tasks needed to be done in each room. I Every day I do my best to tackle at least 1 of these projects, even if it's only a small 1. I am about halfway through. I have 3 HUGE projects that will take a long time so I'm saving those until I have a few uninterrupted days, most likely towards the very end of my list so hopefully I'll stay motivated :-) simply by seeing all of my other progress. Thanks again.
Hi Patty, I don't know about the specific dividers in this video, but if you go to Google or Amazon and type in wallet dividers, there are many options from which you can choose. I saw some Etsy shop listings where you can have your tabs customized to the headings you want. I hope this helps.
It helps when all your items can be multi used. One item can be used for 3 to 4 ways. That helped me. It has to be multi tasked. Talented. It helped me condense and have less. Items have be able to work hard for me or they don't stay.
I didn't learn anything new, but for #23 purse organization - a company called Pursefection makes organizers so things are not floating around. For closets I use Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers. They do work & save at least half of your closet space. There are knockoffs out there, but those do break. They are on sale a few times a year on HSN. Target carries them in black
Couple years ago I totally switched all my hanging clothes to Joy Huggable Hangers. And yes, they do save hanger space. Well worth the price, and will last forever. I wish I would have got them even long-long-long time ago. And nope these will not break.
Yep, I understand. I just have one that moved back in. Said he would be here for about 6 months. That was January 2015. My 6 months must be different that his 6 months.
Hello, would be a great idea to say the name of bins/containers/ slide out metal kitchen organizers for the plastic tupperware, and ESPECIALLY the bathroom organization bins/baskets/ over the door storage and where you buy these items. Just an idea I would be sharing this video quite a few people who want this done or hire someone to do this for them.
Great ideas but my kitchen cabinets cover most of the the walls and the rest is tile backsplash so I can't hang things. Because my kitchen is small, there's not much cabinet space and I don't have a pantry. Its infuriating trying to do anything!!! I keep my grocery list (and for other stores as well) permanently on my cellphone and add what I need. So much quicker than writing lists and something I ALWAYS have with me.
Obviously, this isn't meant for most people who live in apartments. Playroom? LOL LOL the living/dining/bedroom are playrooms!! Pantries? LOLOLOLOL Uh, can you do one for apartments?
Keeping your garage nice and cheerful......Yep the rat poison and weed poison is always pretty and does up a garage.......Get real ! Garages store items like hoses and well used wheelbarrows. Nobody thinks garage and keeping things pretty.
Would be a great idea for a walk in pantry but, think it would look a bit cheap/ tacky for out in an open kitchen. Plus, rewashing all those tools before use, or every week or two is a huge waste of time, water, dishsoap. It kind of goes against the first tip of cleaning/ decluttering/ organizing in this video.. Which was clearing off the countertops/ flat areas.. I would assume like stoves, tops of fridges, kitchen tables, rolling butcher blocks, etc.
my youngster had too many things. I'd threaten and cajole. No dice, no cooperation; Older child. I gathered his things in two bags. I sorted out one and put it in my car's trunk. The other, he got to earn back...my choices, not his. The other bag contained the junkers and the broken, along with things he out grown. Those I sorted out into the garbage and to the thrift shop. The bag left was sorted out into two bags again...one bag for now, the other for 6 months down the road to exchange for the toys he'd earned back. Never had another problem. He is 37 now and his stuff is neat and orderly. Pays to teach them early...but, you have to learn first.
Great decor & tips ideas. Thank you.
9:09 You can also sort books in your personal library by author. You know just like in a library... But good video! :)

I don't think I've ever been in an organized house.

25 sneaky ways to organize your home.... Then begins to say put away your stuff and clean up after yourself! Well
Duhhhhh!
Should open up with something stronger than putting dishes in a cabinet
Noo
😂😂😂😂😂
Do we live on the same planet?
I would think most people would know to clean the counters and scrub the sink...Seems that's commonsense.
☯️♥️♥️ 🎯♥️ Thank U🙏🌺🙏
Not sure how these are “sneaky”...
I would say they're more like clever.
“The pantry,” assuming everyone has a huge kitchen. No, I don’t have enough drawers and cupboards to devote one just to Tupperware lids.

Move every year.
