Many singers voices diminish with age. Not so with Jimmy Hall. His voice is richer than it was in his unpolished youth. He's just hitting his stride! Amazing.
It's hard to believe I am just now discovering the music of Jimmy Hall. What a voice, amazing sax and harp playing. What a force of nature. It's rare for me to disvover a living artist that oozes talent funky blues raw musical energy like he does. And damn did I mention his powerful soulful voice?!
