This game's location is Utah and Colorado. Aloy's tribe is located at the Cheyenne Mountains. The sequel game happens in California and perhaps Nevada.
even if it is a compact version according to H1:ZD's map and plus first DLC's. but yes, it first main narratively took place in the center of america....
Hey. I recently started playing as well and searched for people who also played this game. It's awesome to see other's perspective on the game! Thank you very much for making this content! Your dog is soo cute, thank you for including him!
There are no dinosaurs in this game, except the birds! However, Aloy is a bad ass in this game. Guerrilla Games did a very good job with her, making her 'feel real'. Giving her emotions, feelings and those little reactions to her environment and situations. Ashley Burch did an amazing job as well.
And the one missing shoe is always on the left foot... Weird HZD trivia I guess. Thanks for playing. I always enjoy seeing how different gamers play this game. I'll subscribe just to watch your continuing play through... Good luck. It's a really engaging story.
Nice that u found one of the true gems and played it! Now and then i get an urge to see someone discovering it first time... ^^ U have introduced urself as someone that plays story driven RPG-games. But let me recommend my favourite story-driven game, thats so deep and historical accurate, that u might rather call it medieval simulator. Its way harder than Horizon, Zero Dawn, because... realism, and their bohemian (czechian) creators liked it to throw out hard tasks that need u to use ur brain, and listen to what was said... and play like u were there for real... in Bohemia, anno domini 1403. With historically accurate locations, society and characters, starting as an untrained, illiterate blacksmiths son...
@The Do Si Duo. Seeing you play Horizon Zero Dawn makes me regret. Not having play the game. I allready regreted it a little when i was playing Forbidden West yesterday.
Just started watching you play this, what a game I hope you enjoyed it cos it's a fabulous game, I subscribed aswell. Loved it as you peace it together. Sorry I'm late with watching this.
well, alternative era of race development--it is not like our old one counterparts' era was like the Isu's (assassin's creed universe and world).... well, there is the Earth-off [REDACTED] 'neighbors' of ours out there and their own Human continued advanced civilization state....for you to later find out more. (not in the first game though. all it focuses mostly on the once advanced state of Earth-bound lives at the moment).
Unfortunately, you are playing the game with the HUD fully on. The HUD spoils the beauty of the game. I do not know why so many players do not play with a dynamic HUD and turn off some features. You do not need 99% of the HUD features turned on! Having the HUD constantly over the gorgeous landscape of the world that Aly is in, is a major distraction. Not to mention your massive camera box! I always cover people's faces when watching people play games. I am not interested in watching how someone looks. I only interested in how they play the game. How they immerse themself in the game and roleplay as Aloy. Having the HUD fully on and camera just reminds me that I watching a person play game and nothing more. Goodluck with your channel. This is a lovely game, however, I cannot watch your playthrough.
@@cobrazax That is the problem, it gives too much constant information and makes the game too easy. As I also said it covers up the screen. Do you really need a marker showing where all the medicinal plants are? Or the animals? Are you not capable of recognising these things yourself? No, having a full HUD constantly on is a no, no. The HUD is for lazy people that constantly need help and told things. Showing an annoying 'awareness' icon hovering over an enemy head is not necessary and makes it easier. You don't need it. You can tell if they are aware by just looking at their 'eyes'. I could go on. There is too much hand-holding in games and people have forgotten how to think for themselves.
@@davidsds473 LOL i was talking about the HP and XP parts of the HUD, nothing about the markings above resources and machines... these things are VERY much necessary to almost ALL players. barely anyone would even consider removing those.
@@cobrazax I am also including HP and XP! You do not need to constantly see your Health Points and eXPerience points plastered on the screen! What, are you that incapable of playing a game without seeing your HP constantly on the screen? This game allows you to toggle on and customise the HUD. If you are desperate to see how much health you have you can just toggle the HUD on. It is not necessary to know how much health you have in this game because there is so much medicinal plants. If you lose health just use a plant and your health is full again. Stop relying on the information on the HUD.. As I said, the HUD in this game makes the game easier. I stopped playing games years ago, because I got fed up with games constantly 'hand-holding' and stopping me relying on my own instincts, experience and awareness. If I could, I always turned off the HUD. By the way, I have seen players that have played this game with 99% of the HUD either turned off or dynamic. They do no have the HP and XP showing and spoiling this beautiful looking game.
@@davidsds473 Xp isnt that important to see all the time. Hp is useful to see when u r not full, but if u r full, its not important to see. So yes sometimes these are turned off. What u were talking about were alert icons about enemies as well as resource icons above things u can collect. These cannot be turned off and almost everyone wants them permanently on. If u cant play because they are always on...then u r the special guy here as almost no one has a problem with those.

GOD the "happy birthday isaac" gets me right in the feels everytime. Remember NOBODY except Rost can talk to aloy because they're outcast.
I feel bad for aloy as a kid 😢
I've been wanting to see someone play this game! I feel like it never got the right amount of hype it deserved

Benji carries this channel man 😂
@@TheDoSiDuo You could put another camera on him, and he could be like a co-host. I wouldn't mind lol
you’ll like this a lot, she’s a bad ass and it has dinosaurs, 10/10 stuff
She’s great!!! Can’t wait to play more

Aloy is QUEEN!!!
@1:27:00 What difficulty level are you playing on?
Normal! Middle of the road for my sanity 🙏
this a great game i liked it cant wait for part 2 to come out ....hru btw savannah?
"Whaddo I do here?" You go back to playing Sonic. Brilliant game & you're killin' it.
I've never noticed the fact everyone is missing a shoe😭
@5:42 He's gonna pull a Michael Jackson.
You… look a bit like Aloy? (Which is a compliment or an insult depending on which half of the internet you talk to.)
i only have 20+ fps playing this game
I *really* hope you managed to make it through this game without some Twitch twat coming in and spoiling you on major plot points.
Don’t worry, they were booted after the following stream 🙃 Toxic to say the LEAST.
