Hong Kong is a capitalist story, but done is some good and some bad ways. They have some laws to protect their people 1. Free college education, 2. Free universal health care 3. 3 months paid maternity leave. Their factories have a huge advantage of paying a few $/hour for their workers. 4.4% of their population are paid immigrants that work 70 hour work weeks 6-7 days a week. 20% of their population are paid so little they live in poverty. They could have left and work in mainland China. But by saving and investing their hard earned money they will earn more money. And it helped so many leave poverty in Hong Kong(why would they be there otherwise?)
