Sultan Suleiman is angry with Hürrem that she shut the door in his face. He thinks Hürrem is playing games with him. Hürrem will pay a heavy price for her impertinency.
Hürrem can't believe the decision that Sultan Suleiman made about her. She goes to Sultan Suleiman but that doesn't work. She tries for nothing. Hürrem has to obey Sultan Suleiman's rules. A new life starts for her outside of the harem. Will Hürrem be able to get together with Sultan Suleiman and her children?
Meanwhile, Sultana thinks it's time for taking over the control because she is aware that it will be a disaster if Sultana Hürrem gets what she wants. Valide makes a great plan to get rid of Hürrem and she needs İbrahim for that. Sultana and Ibrahim is praparing a trap with a heavy price for Hürrem.
In the mean time Nigar is about to commit a suicide. An unexpected person gets on at last minute for saving her from death.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Hurrem obviously wanted to marry him, but from his perspective, she really didn't do anything wrong. She just told him she couldn't do charity as a slave, he freed her (and is was his own idea, she didnt ask for it) and then she acted like a good Muslim. He should be more angry with himself for not thinking about the consequences.
It was valide suggestion to hurrem that she need the approval of that person i forgot the name like moche efendi or what so ever and told to hurrem by letter that she cant do charity coz of her status as a slave or concubine. Hurrem didnt play suleyman just to marry her it was just a call coz a free woman cant sleep by the sultan thats why the sultan enraged by thinking hurrem played a trick on him so that he can marry hurrem what hurrem said is true she cant lay on bed with the king coz shes not a slave and concubine of the sultan anymore hurrem is just really smart woman valide and mahidevran mocking and laughing to hurrem when hurrem said that she also want to do a charity outside and valide suggest hurrem to write a letter permission if the moche efendi allowed her but valide knows she cant uts bcoz of her status as a slave concubine.

Suleiman only chose Mahidevran to come to his chamber because he knew it would upset Hurrem. That allowed him to tick off Hurrem and make it look like he was in charge even though when it came down to it, he couldn't touch Mahidevran. But it does make one think about how he banishes Hurrem (more than once!) and yet calls a women to his chamber that actually sent poison to his table among other horrible things and never got punished in any way.
It wasnt about not sleeping with him he wouldnt sent her off just for that its becuz she manupilated hik and we all know it but anyway he still overreacted
As I'm watching this series, I'm going through a really difficult time and hurrem is making me feel powerful and how to rely on yourself. I also see that someday it is your day and someday it is not like hurrems only the end matters

This is the first watching a foreign miniseries. Spectacularly in every way. I feel like I'll speak Turkish when I'm done. These actors couldn't be outdone by Hollywood. Bravo to all.
I hear that! I put it into Duolingo so I could learn it as I watched the series.
This was also my first Turkish series that led to many others...but I always return to rewatch my favorite episodes from time to time. I can now understand lots of Turkish words thanks to these shows

Sen Anlat Karadeniz was also good with English subtitles, Gecenin Kralicesi with English subtitles is played by Meryem Uzerli and Murat Yildrim, a very beautiful short series but no English subtitles on UA-cam. Need to watch it on Turkish 123, all 15 episodes are there. Currently watching life of secrets with English subtitles on UA-cam, good one. Oh must watch Kiralik Ask Love for Rent, it's fabulous. And Mrs Fazilet and her daughters is excellent! Hope this helps, happy watching 😊

Hurrem should be careful of what she was saying, because Syleiman was in charge and if he wanted to appoint Ibrahim as the Sereasker, that means the Sultan had spoken and his will has as like this, so Hurrem had not the right to complain about this to Syleiman. I don't feel either of the characters are able to portray the real intense feeling between the couple. Mahidevran plays better love in comparison to hatice. Hurrem by far surpassing the entire lot through her display of jealous lover she is the best
