    Really impressive electric board. I still think the Jetsurf petrol are the best all round choice. Lighter, more run time, easier to transport. Exciting times ahead for Jet boards.

    How fast will it go with towing someone on the back like a boogie board?

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  5 років тому

      depends what you use. like if you tow a foil it can go fast with less resistance. if you tow like inflatable SUP then it will go slower. But it definitely has enough power to tow

    Nice review Mike looks like a well designed board.. the water cooling is key to fast recharge times and long battery life.. pretty expensive......close to €20,000 last I heard ??

      €10.000 wow that will most likely keep then as the best selling board period.

      it's not that easy. Remember jetsurf loves racing but you can not travel easily around the world with electric board because of the battery so racing usage is very limited.
      I see most its use in rentals and lakes where traveling with the board is not an issue

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  5 років тому

      Also riding time is always a question. Here you get 30 mins and have to carry a heavy battery. With Jetsurf DFI i can take 2 tanks that weight together less than 5kg and get 2 hours of riding fun :)

      JetSurfing Nation good points Mike I guess I meant that since they already have the petrol board and now the electric one they can continue to dominate the market with the addition of the electric board.
      Cheers frankie

      Jetsurf electric is made in 2020. There was no model in 2017...
      As for petrol Jetsurf, it is released in 2020 as well (Jetsurf DFI). You can see my video about Jetsurf DFI on our channel

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  5 років тому

      More expensive
      More powerful with longer riding time
      But much more noisy.

  • @xrbperformance4290
    @xrbperformance4290 5 років тому +4

    I hope they will not blow themselves out of the water with ridiculously high prices. There will be a higher demand for this electrics then for the noisy ones, and many companies make the mistake of thinking they can use this demand to charge a premium and tray to capitalize or get returns sooner, instead of in a longer time span, then they push the majority of the clients away and they sink

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  5 років тому

      Good point but the time will tell. A lot of people like to travel with the board and it will be hard to do with electric. With petrol board you can easily travel the world

      I agree though but my 2019 adventure I can ride for a hour and a half mixed riding and I can imagine the less weight of the gasoline board would tire your legs and joints out less! We are at the pinnacle of internal combustion right now let's enjoy it! 2 strokes won't be around much longer!

      @@JetSurfingNation last year i got a brand new spark 3 up for under 7k and you can get a jet ski for around 5.5 brand new, so ya the jetsurf is a rip off its less mechanical less material 2 make it few years from now hopefully it will drop once they have competition but as it is now just not worth the price tag unless you have money to burn

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  4 роки тому

      with all due respect, a jetski is a 400 kg chair with engine that needs a trailer, a launch pad a tons of servicing and gasoline... Jetsurf is a pure freedom, 20kg board that i take on my back as a backpack and go ride everywhere :) it's just a next generation level of freedom. You have to try it. You can find a used jetsurf for 7k as well. cheers !

      @@JetSurfingNation not by any means am i saying it not fun and convenient but the cost to make and they price that's being asked is a little over the top wouldn't you say ad a few grand you have a low end new car what they asking for for a bit of carbon fiber and a motor not a very good one at that 35 mph ain't exactly revolutionary for something so light. i would love to buy on but i don't see it being worth more then 5k at most.

    • @JetSurfingNation
      @JetSurfingNation  4 роки тому +1

      I respectful disagree. First of all we cant compare niche product like luxury water toys to mass produced products like cars where everything is clear during the 100 years of history of sales. With jetboards and efoils each piece must be well tested in salty water and waterproofing battery and motor is a state of the art technology, that's why the price is pretty high. It's not going to be lower anytime soon, the demand is just too big. Yes making an engine that is so small and can withstand hours of work in the salty water is indeed revolutionary in my books :)
