It's true, we have to forgive and forget every sin that anyone ever commit to us unless it involes the mocking and war againts islam and the prophet s.a.w. than we will fight till our last drop of bloods which is what the true definition of man in islam. Because in the end everything does not matter accept good deeds when we stand infront of Allah Azawajal hopping for his forgiveness and mercy.
Then that's not forgiving. Jesus said forgive and pray for your enemy. How beautiful are the feet of the ONE who brings the good news ( gospel)

I asked someone to forgive me but she doesnt want to,Ive done my best to ask and tell her and she says no,I asked Allah to forgive me,I hope that is enough because I don’t want to be held in the day of judgement with that
We have to remember that Allah is NOT A HUMAN BEING! Allah's mercy is to such an extent that even if we choose not to forgive others for what they have done to us, Allah WILL FORGIVE the sins we do between us and HIM so long as we REPENT! This does not mean just because you choose not to forgive others for what they have done to you that Allah won't forgive you. Allah is DIFFERENT. Allah is the Most Merciful. Allah has granted us the flexibility of choice, that is why He is Awesome!! Praise be to Him may He forgive us Allah! However it is better for is if we do forgive.

Salam alaykum I hope you are well. This is a beautiful talk. I want to know something What about if you can’t go to the people that hurt you. What about if you have forgiven them but you know that if you go to them. They only want to hurt you. What if they have been doing black magic On You for nearly 30 years since grade 5. What if you know 100% if they see you and they see you are ok they will continue to mess you up and anyone You know. And your still living with everything they done. And are struggling to this day. But you have forgiven then. You you know 100% going is not a good thing. And this is not out of pride or showing anyone anything. It is for safety?
I’m a little late and I’d like to mention I’m not a big sheikh or an alim or anything like that so what I’m about to say is my own opinion
When you know FULLY in your heart that going to a place, speaking to someone, or drinking something will cause you harm you stay away from it. You stay away from the immediate harm and pray that Allah gives you the chance to tell them… if you have forgiven them sincerely then Allah will be pleased with you as you’ve tried every possible way to fix your problem.
