The Farseer Trilogy is the most melancholic piece of literature that I have ever read) It's beautiful, sometimes it's pretty adventurous, but it's very sad( All the same, I love it with all my heart)
see that scares me, but also makes me really want to pick up the series! the farseer trilogy is so different from the other fantasy series that i've read and i really can't wait to see what the rest of the series holds (no matter how sad that may be)
I know you probably won’t see this, but you are genuinely my favorite UA-camr. I have been really stressed with school recently, but your videos constantly brighten my day and watching your content helps me stay motivated. :)
I haven't stopped thinking about Powerless since I read it a couple if months ago. I absolutely am obsessed. So glad you loved it. Can't wait until July next year for book two. Also I loved the vlog, such a fun way to get more reading in.
I love it when you do long vlogs, it's so comforting and cozy! I have not read any of those books, but 3 of them are on my tbr and now I'm more excited to read them my current reading plans are: a short story each day from The Winter Spirits (12 different stories from 12 different authors, and I believe they're Christmas with a bit of scary stuff happening) and then read The Christmas Murder Game by Alexandra Benedict ! annnnd I've just ordered Starless Sea so I can't wait to read it!
i'm so glad you love the long vlogs!! i love making them so much🥺 and that short story collections sounds so good! i hope you're enjoying them!! also hope you love the starless sea💙✨
I have Powerless … I’m glad you read it and loved it! I think I’m going to make it a priority read. I really enjoyed this vlog and I hope you do one like this in the future!
Already completed powerless, read and loved it, gave it 4⭐ ,bumped a star because of the darn cliffhanger, if u know, u know 😅. love you and your video, would love to see the pages of your journal.
Honestly I love Laini Taylor's writing so much but I just couldn't finish the third book in the daughter of smoke and bone series. Her writing's immaculate but the devil and angel trope and basically the characters were so cringey that I just couldn't do it anymore and had to dnf the book... It made me sad but I'm very excited to try Strange the Dreamer! Everyone raves about it and I already love her lush and creative prose...but I feel this lovely camaraderie to see you have a similar response to this book! 😂
I loveeee your reading vlogs Katie they're just so cozy! I also read powerless a few months ago and I loved it, so much so that I can't decide which I liked better powerless or fourth wing
I already knew I would want to read Powerless at some point but the way you talked about the book cemented that I REALLY want to read it!! Also, I love that you shared your Ali Hazelwood ranking! I've read all her adult novels and novellas and enjoyed them all so much so I'm glad to know you enjoyed some of them as well!
I tried reading Godkiller and was not enjoying it so dnf'ed it, I started Powerless just to see on the author's writing style so will get to that eventually, and have plans to read Half A Soul in December. Continuing my read of Clockwork Princess and reading Keeper of the Lost Cities. Happy reading!
There is something about the Daughter of Smoke and Bone Trilogy and the Strange the Dreamer duology that I have been thinking about since i read all the books, and i never see anyone talk about it. But it can be a huge spoiler, so I understand why nobody talks about it. But I was always wondering if other people realised it and if they thought it was as cool as I did, at the time of reading them! I hope somebody here who has read all the books knows what I'm talking about 🤣
I have Powerless on hold on Libby. I wasn’t going to read it but then changed my mind. I can’t wait for Ali Hazelwood’s Bride, a paranormal romance that comes out next year. I haven’t read any of her other books. I might or will just wait for Bride. Your cat is so cute!! 😻 I’ve come to the realization (and I’m sure you and others have to) that fantasy and fantasy romance are mostly about traveling. lol How people in the real estate industry say location location location is the most important thing in buying a house. Well traveling traveling traveling is one of the main things in fantasy/fantasy romance. lol
I made it to the same point in Godkiller and I just thought it was me. So glad to see you also felt that way and based on your review I'm going to DNF it. I'm excited to read Powerless.
How do you have the motivation and time to read this much of pages every day for me I can’t even finish a 50 pages a day you are magical 😂I wish I could for a loooong time
Powerless is the free book for Simon Teen for tomorrow and I really want to read it but I don't know if I'll have enough time to read the whole thing 😢
i read daughter of smoke and bone three-ish years ago and i feel the same way about it. i liked it enough but i wasn't massively invested and i didn't really like the insta love element of it
I dnf'd godkiller ): i'm definitely going to make sure to read love on the brain before love theoretically so it can only get better lmao SO wild how much you read in this video!
i started watching you recently and you've gotten me out of my book slump 😭😭just a question, where do you normally get your recommendations from?? also love the video
I adore your videos; as a UA-camr, your content is incredibly inspiring. I aspire to become self-employed and turn UA-cam into my dream career. Though I'm giving it my all, the journey is challenging. Thank you for being, just that
i really liked godkiller because it gave me geralt/ciri vibes from the witcher but i agree it has maybe one too many pov's. the romance was my biggest criticism though it definitely felt forced and kind of took away from the story?
I read daughter of smoke and bone back in 2014 and was really enjoying the first half of it but the second half rlly lost me and i hated it 😭 still mad about it ngl
I feel like I didn't like Akiva when I first read a daughter of smoke and bone and the second book is just okay so I never ended up finishing the series. The twist is annoying lol.

I just started the shades of magic series and I’m loving it so much! I love her writing. I literally think about vicious so often it’s so unhealthy 😂
ah yay i'm so glad you're starting shades of magic!! it's so much fun!!
I love it when you do long vlogs, it's so comforting and cozy!

You convinced me to buy "Powerless". I've almost bought it twice, but never finished in the checkout with that. 😂 Winnie is co cute. 😍
ooh i hope you enjoy it!!💜

girl i love the farseer trilogy but it is so sad and stressful to read lmao im literally putting off finishing the third book because i am so nervous
In USA it seems like it is still warm but in Norwsy it is full on winter.😅
Currently reading love, theoretically and I'm absolutely loving it 💕🥼🧪
ahh it's so good!!
you vibes are always immaculate ❤
thank you so much!!🥰
I made it to the same point in Godkiller and I just thought it was me. So glad to see you also felt that way and based on your review I'm going to DNF it. I'm excited to read Powerless.

Your vlogs always cheer me up. Thanks for being you, Katie. Merry Christmas 🎄 🎅
oh i'm so glad🥺 merry christmas to you as well🫶🏻
@@katieisreading thank you ❤️
Loved the vlog and your cat is so cute. It was getting so annoyed that you weren't giving more attention. 😂
I love all of your videos so much!
I don’t love the first Daughter of Smoke and Bone book, but I really enjoyed the second and third!
This is a good idea! I always struggle to set a page goal each day so this would be nice to change it up a bit! 🩷
it was definitely a fun way to read more!! i would definitely recommend giving it a try!
How do you have the motivation and time to read this much of pages every day for me I can’t even finish a 50 pages a day you are magical 😂I wish I could for a loooong time
I had to triple check to make sure I liked this video because I’m enjoying it so much
🥺🫶🏻
I love your videos so much, Katie❤
Powerless is the free book for Simon Teen for tomorrow and I really want to read it but I don't know if I'll have enough time to read the whole thing 😢
I'm currently reading The Unfortunate Side Effects of Heartbreak and Magic by Breanne Randall
i read daughter of smoke and bone three-ish years ago and i feel the same way about it. i liked it enough but i wasn't massively invested and i didn't really like the insta love element of it

I am currenly reading Krampus the Yule Lord by Brom.

Daughter of Smoke and Bone sounds so much like a fever dream with the way you describe it lmao
Where do you get all of your UK editions of books?
😅 i enjoyed Godkiller, though I read it ages ago, and it hasn't stuck with me

hey katie have you read a curse for true love the 3rd book in the once upon a broken heart series.
Are you going to read scarlet veil it is by the same author that wrote the serpent and dove series
I started to read Godkiller. Found it really boring so I choose to DNF after 50% sadly
Sorry if this was in an old video but how do you find the cool book covers?? Are they from a book group? Specific websites??
i just find them on google images! some take a bit more searching, but for the most part the covers that i'm looking for just pop up
What if it’s in the middle of a chapter and you MUST finish it? 🤪
i really liked godkiller because it gave me geralt/ciri vibes from the witcher but i agree it has maybe one too many pov's. the romance was my biggest criticism though it definitely felt forced and kind of took away from the story?
Great vlog 📚🎁🎄☕🧑🎄⛄🌨️
You should read check & mate by Ali Hazelwood!!!
Gutted about Godkiller, but I will still read it 😂
I read daughter of smoke and bone back in 2014 and was really enjoying the first half of it but the second half rlly lost me and i hated it 😭 still mad about it ngl
