We first bonded with Elizabeth and Ryan over our mutual love for Maine and dogs. If you even know us a little bit then you know just how much we LOVE New England + you know our golden retriever, Nola, is our world! We knew they were perfect from the start 🙌🏻🖤
So, it should come at no surprise to you that we absolutely adored getting to know them + enjoyed their day completely.
Elizabeth + Ryan hired the best team to take care of them (looking at you, Shelly Fortune), they served their guests champagne during their art gallery ceremony (I mean, these two really know how to treat their friends and family!!), they also fed their guests delicious food (y'all, they even had lobster rolls 😍🦀), and they were center of the dance floor with their people the entire night! Side note: have you ever seen a groom with sweeter dance moves? Ryan was killing it! 👏🏻
Sometimes couples switch things up when it comes to planning their wedding days to match their personalities. The beauty of weddings is that they should reflect you, your relationship, and the love you share with one another.
Elizabeth + Ryan chose to share their private vows with one another right after their first look in the garden. They were able to have a few moments together without the pressure of feeling front + center or having all the attention on them. It was their moment to keep just for themselves - just the two of them, sharing their hearts with one another. 🖤

When I watch all these beautiful weddings with beautiful brides, it makes me wonder if it's possible for a girl who is not skinny or pretty or anything like that to have a beautiful day like this with a dress that makes her beautiful and more importantly, a man who makes her feel beautiful. :(
Honestly, beauty is in the eye of the beholder + every person has their own insecurities. I think the important thing here is that although, yes, Elizabeth is an outwardly stunning bride...she also has an absolute heart of gold which makes her even more beautiful on the outside. Being "skinny" is not something that makes a bride have a beautiful wedding day.We've filmed brides who are anywhere from a size 0 to a size 30 and the common thread between these brides + what alllows them ALL to FEEL beautiful when they step into their wedding gowns on their wedding day is their hearts. Their kind, selfless, giving, thoughtful, filled with joy hearts that make them ALL unique + absolutely beautiful in their own special way. These are always the FIRST qualities that their partners list as reasons they fell in love with their brides in the first place. Not the fact that she is "skinny" or "pretty" on the outside.
