  • There's a new wave of young Māori who are feeling the pull to receive their moko kauae or mataora. Moeawa Tamanui-Fransen is one of them and on her journey she wants to know more about the experiences that young Māori who wear moko kanohi have.
In this episode Moeawa explores the topic of dating with moko kanohi.
This is part of our reo Māori series, Ohinga, created by Mahi Tahi Media, with funding from Te Māngai Pāho and the NZ on Air Public Interest Journalism Fund. Stay tuned for a new episode every week.

Make up your own tikanga- I love that. Such a non-colonised and indigenous attitude. And I love it ❤
