Happy Hogmanay and a Happy New Year for 2025! Some great memories made this year! I'm going to do the West Highland Line next year up in Scotland, just hope the weather will hold up for me!
Three generations of my family were in Bearcrofts Farm ( from c 1888 to 1944 ) at Grangemouth before it finally disappeared underneath the expanding oil refinery that started in 1924. They would have been able to look across the flat carse land and the river Avon to see steam trains on that line just a couple of miles distant.

You are a class above Noel Philips.... I watch your videos whilst eating lunch or dinner usually. I don't want to see toilets, it's just a bit disgusting! Maybe a bit less footage of you wandering around airports looking for a coffee. I watched a few of your trip reports where I felt the percentage of the video was about 60% walking around the airport with a pre-amble about the flight, and 30% was the actual trip and 10% was you walking round the airport on arrival asking us what we thought of that flight. Very little footage onboard the flights and views out of the window etc. Maybe linger a bit longer on your scenery shots. I love the way you edit clips on the beat of a bar, great editing. Personally I do enjoy when you include footage of the destination itself. Happy new year, looking forward to the next videos. I am no video producer so please take this feedback from someone who just likes watching, cheers :-)
