That blue dress is everything. I don't wear earring often but when I do, I always mismatch them!!! THRIFTING IS MY FAVORITE THING TO DO IN LIFE!!!! In fact, I don't buy new items often- just enough to make the thrifted items appear more expensive! LOL!! I love the fact that vintage or thrift shopping allows you to get unique pieces and stand out for a price that my wallet adores!!!

I love thrifting. When I was young we were very poor and it was sometimes the only way to buy clothes. Once i found a Christian Dior cardigan at a goodwill for less than $5.
It has been very helpful to see the process and considering before thrift shopping. I usually go for colours and size. I am going to imitate your way : looking for fabric, pattern, texture and purpose so the pieces blend in with what you've already owned or even upgrade your outfits. I' ve seen your previous video. You did well leaving behind your 5-9 prison for your freeing passionate new job. Karen you are my hero/heroine!!!
The dress and daisy top were my favorite! I visit the thrift store a few times a month these days. Just about my whole spring wardrobe came from there. Earlier this week I found a white double breasted pant suit, a gorgeous purple dress that reminds me of your navy dress in the video, a fabulous black patent leather purse and a pair of clear vinyl lucite heeled slingbacks. I call them my Cinderella shoes. LOL My vintage and thrift shopping is largely inspired by you. A couple of years ago, I never would have thought to shop in a thrift store. Thank you for the constant inspiration. :)

I loved browsing through thrift stores when I visited NYC. We only have a few here in Austria and sadly all are so overpriced, like thrift boutiques. I love seeing your enthusiasm finding new pieces, your a great fashion ambassador Karen. Love u xx

Hi Karen! You inspired me to try out my local thrift shop! All I’ve ever used it for before was buying books or getting rid of old clothes. I just didn’t think I could find clothes for me there because the place is so busy. But I am so happy I did. I looked for clothes for fall because all of my old cold weather items needed to be replaced. For $54 I ended up with a fabulous plaid pea coat, a 100% cashmere scarf, two other scarves, a wool turtleneck, a pair of Rag and Bones jeans, and two cardigans. I only had an hour to look around and try things on, so I’ll definitely do it again when I have more time. Thank you for inspiring me!

I recently went somewhere and thought about mixing prints thanks to you. I went with 2 monochromatic, oversized dresses and am wearing them with sneakers like I see the New Yorkers wearing. I had a daisy shirt just like that I loved everything but the way it fit when the weather got warm. There was something about the cut just seemed to bind in hot weather.
