Yep, but .... for the same job, you usually make 3-5 times the money the people get here ... An experienced nurse for example gets §37500 here (a year) and in the US it might be $120000+ ... and you pay less tax ... You cannot just compare the rent ...
@@ManOfNorse-b7jyou're looking at it from the point of view of working locals, but my comment was directed at digital nomads looking for a place to live internationally who are not financially dependent on their host countries
Can really feel your love for Antalya, I was there for the first time last year and fell in love with it too, can't stay there long term due to work commitments but that is my dream city when I can manage to get away!
Sorry, but it's not a scam..living in a popular city in Germany is sadly just not cheap, also not for Germans themselves at this point, but that's also well known. If you moved to a cheap area of the country, it would be cheaper.
I am Turkish and moved to Germany 2 years ago. I did not like the never ending bureucratical issues here and for me life is hard in Germany. I have a very good level German and Germany provides 2nd citizenship, so I chose Germany. The main problem in Turkey is poorness. It is better to be poor in Germany than in Turkey. But if you have a good job and earn well and if you do not have kids, Turkey can be more attractive. Because in this case as someone who earn well, you pay a lot of tax and cannot benefit from the social benefits in Germany. After 2 years in Germany, I can tell that I am bored of the problems I have to manage here and looking forward to the next move. And I do not recommend anybody to come here, especially if you do not speak German.
I was born in Germany, but moved away over 25 years ago. Main reason was the weather and the people. To me, Germans are way to close minded, not for me. However, your housing "issue" is very normal in Germany. It is expensive and usually hard to get an apartment as there are so many hoops to go through and the fact that you often need to buy a kitchen, makes no sense to me. The GEZ, the mandatory TV payment "system" is a unique German thing. It has no place in todays world, but when it comes to that, Germans are actually still behind. It looks like they are OK with having just OK Internet. You might have 5G at one corner or just E around the corner. Same with home Internet, but when talking to Germans, they complain about it, however online work is still seen as not real work in Germany.
German TV and GEZ should certainly be reformed, ARD downsized for example, but the system keeps Murdoch and Co. off our backs! You can see what they do in the US and UK, no thanks!

I had a German grandmother. Germans have VERY high standards on cleanliness.
Germany is still affordable. The rent in San Francisco for a studio or 1 bedroom apartment on a one year lease start around $4000/Month

1OO is not a lot, but they just took it, without telling why, so it theft.
The Netherlands housing situation is a actual Disaster, even far farfrom the cities . Just no housing

I enjoyed your social and economic observations/comments. 👍
Poland is GREAT if you have a decent income
Based off the video clips they posted it's Bulgaria. Good choice. It's a little cold but very good tax situation

The guys are living in Varna now. Good choice.
La Bulgarie est un très beau pays !!
My guess is Montenegro 😊
What is the name of the renting company?
Come back to Albania
It could be Bulgaria! 😊
Go to Poland
If you have a good income, it's hard to beat Poland .
I bet its Estonia...am I right?????🤣🤣😂
I am thinking of retiring to Europe. The Ukraine war concerns me, in the event it expands. Southern Germany has nicer weather some.
Try Bulgaria
German is so hard to learn.
