- Since April 2006, tram line 3 has been running from Innsbrucker Straße through Merzhauser Straße to the Johanneskirche, then through the city center and the Stühlinger to Weingarten and onto the Haid.
Here it is particularly worth getting off:
Innsbruck street
The terminus of line 3 in the Vauban offers a connection with line 11 to St. Georgen. You can walk the wine and history trail here, for example. It starts at Winzerhaus Sankt Georg, Wendlinger Str. 23, and leads about 4 kilometers through nature. The difference in altitude is 150 m, so the path is easy to walk. In total, it takes about two to two and a half hours.
