They made a Reservoir Dogs video game in 2006 for Windows - PS2 - XBOX, you should make a "Just Like The Movie?" episode on it.
And depending on your choices acting as a "Professional" or "Psychopath" you'll see if Mr.Pink gets away or gets caught
I actually liked that one.
I missed that one only movie game I played for ps2 was really the t3 games the Scarface one and the thing I missed that one
@@jimbowlan5804 Scarface was incredible. There's still time for you to play the Warriors. That's probably the best video game adaptation of a movie.
@@jimbowlan5804 I like the Scarface game, I bought it back in the day on PS2 an ended up 100% it.
Pink goes into hiding and ironically is now working as a Buddy Holly impersonating waiter at Jack Rabbit Slims
Can't believe no one mentioned Mr. Orange is the one who ratted out Mr. Pink for not tipping.
I know right
I always enjoy watching the opening act of the film and I feel like *[SLIGHTLY LESS EDITED VERSION OF COMMENT AVAILABLE ON PATREON & FOR UA-cam CHANNEL MEMBERS]* That’s why it’s a classic scene to me.
I want to make it clear that I am subscribing because you had the boys on.
22:14 To be fair, you can slip in and out of accents like that in real life. I'm from Kentucky, and I typically don't have an accent. Occasionally, it does slip out.
Nobody mentioned the Special Technique: City On Fire homage and inspiration.
This is one of three Tarantino films I've never seen before! Also yay for boys month!
"Billy Madison is dumb(now as a adult)" Bud Billy Madison has always been dumb that's why it's great. Reservoir Dogs still holds up you're crazy. The nipicking was crazy here.
Nitpicking..not nipicking yes I'm nitpicking over that 😂
@@SteelSunday Yea Nitpicking, like asking why they hired Mr. Blonde for the heist when they showed you (a scene that they shit on) why they hired Mr. Blonde, they obviously go back with eachother & trust Mr.Blonde & the wrestling part was showing that Eddie & Blonde were probably childhood friends.
Nitpicking the first scene crying about it being too long when it was setting up all the characters.
Nitpicking about Mr. White's accent
Nitpicking Mr. Blonde taking the cop back to the hideout & getting food
Nitpicking about them trying to be cool have you ever seen a mob movie?
Nitpicking about it trying to be too edgy
commode
Also Acting like Mr.Orange being the rat was too predictable when i've watch multiple reactors all be surprised.
Also it's sounds like they/you don't understand why Orange shot that lady acting like he fucked up, it's called self defense & a reflex, if he didn't shoot her she could've kept shooting, you guys are acting like Orange didn't have to shoot her. Lady is a idiot for shooting at 2 people with guns like what did she think was going to happen?
Bud i'm sorry but this movie is still loved for a reason, if you think it doesn't hold up then you're delusional. If you think this movie doesn't hold up i'd just not watch old movies anymore because they sound jaded AF. You probably unironically do like the new Roadhouse it actually isn't a bit.
Saving Western Civilization one childish D joke at a time, here they are, your new heroes of the Imperium, Mersh and Royce Lopez.
Thanks Tony for your entertaining and hard work. I appreciate the entertainment. You’re an asset on UA-cam.
The American Dad episode "The Kidney Stays in the Picture" parodies the ear cutting scene where Roger is gonna cut out a guys kidney who may be Hayley's real dad, in the parody Roger is listening to Hip to Be Square by Huey Lewis and the News.
I believe that scene was a parody of American Psycho.
The theory for Mr. Pink I always heard was that he was the waiter dressed as Buddy Holly at Jack Rabbit Slim's in Pulp Fiction, because it's definitely Steve Buscemi.
This was an absolutely hilarious review and the guests were incredible.
"He was nuerodivergent, he was-" (slightly less edited version available on Pateron) 😂
funniest shit they have told in a minutes
Alabama was Patricia Arquette's character in True Romance
best guests ever! pure comedy
I was probably the guy who left the negative comment on the Zak Amico video and I’m back to reiterate the same point. Once Upon a Time In Hollywood is great and the lack of Sally’s tight editing is appropriate for it-since it’s a loose hang out movie. Yeah Django and Hateful don’t necessarily need to be as long as they are, but they’re also throwbacks to old 60’s and 70’s western epics. Anyways this video was very funny, but the nitpicking was insane.
Side note: One of you said “what if Alabama was a man” but Alabama is Patricia Arquette’s character from True Romance.
Still my favorite Quentin Tarantino movie, it’s tight, stylish, we’ll made, and fun
Jackie Brown is great
The only thing that upsets me about this movie is that Funko was going to do pops for this film and I was excited to add them to my Reservoir Dogs shelf but they canceled them!
If you own any funko pops you should take the forever nap
@@therealdestructicus imagine telling someone to "take forever nap" all because they collect something they like. I own 1000+ pops and still buy them and so do others. If you don’t like Pops then that's fine but don't tell them to "forever nap".
"source"?
@@wisconsinking323 go to Google and search Funko reservoir dogs. You'll see news about it
@@therealdestructicus seems like the type of guy who lights up a room every time he leaves.
I wrote a parody version for a fake trailer that was a cross between this and Wizard of Oz called *Reservoir Oz.* Even had a whole parody of Stuck in the Middle with You called Stuck in the Land of Oz. Unfortunately it didn't get beyond the storyboard phase.
Those figures are sick!!! They may be not accurate, but still a nice piece to have.
I m new to the channel, and that setup is awesome. I love movies a lot, so I guess I ll give this a try!!!
The Tipping Scene at the beginning of the movie is iconic. The conversation is so natural, yet funny enough. I loved it, specially Buscemi's act. And by the end, when Mr. White was shocked by the fact that he killed his long time friends for a rat, it was so damn sad man... I hope he pulled that trigger before he got caught.
all hail mr. pink
I wish the film was linear, all the Mr Orange back story removed, Mr Blue removed, shown the bank robbery instead of talking in great detail about it and only reveal Mr Orange was the rat in the last shot of the film.
It was supposed to centre on a part of a robbery usually not given much time in other films.
@@neilland8209 I understand but five - ten minutes in the actual heist would’ve made all the difference IMO
So, remove absolutely everything that made the film unique and successful?
The opening scene debate about the meaning of the song like a virgin is one of the greatest piece of naturalistic scriptwriting ever
You serious?
My buddy's dad's name was Larry and he would make us do chores all the time. And we would be outside in the heat saying, "I'm dyin Larry" 😂
These guys are how I found your channel from the last time with Royce and...Pesi.
Frozen sucks for missing this.
Favorite Tarantino movie is honestly probably Reservoir Dogs.
Pulp Fiction is a close second.
Kill Bills are both good, Inglorious was excellent.
Jackie Brown is good.
Hated Hateful Eight.
Hated Once Upon A Time In Hollywood the first time I watched it, but it's grown on me a lot since then.
DiCaprio's character is what makes that movie for me.
I have never heard such a bad take in all my life lol reservoir Dogs doesn't hold up, Tarantinos movies have been going down hill ok lol
The camp of Reservoir Dogs is the charm
Chris Penn, one of the best lines in the movie, "*BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP*". Wait! What?
Tony, Mr Loud Italian, a compliment. You were tested immensely and held up well against these two dupes lobbin jokes left and right. Great break down of the movie, funny episode. Yuu should have these two Northern Floridian trash bags on more often
This episode mentions me a lot, which I likem but it also competes with my record for most edits, which I don't like. It's the first episode of Boys' Month, which I like, but I don't have a Boys' Month episode, which I don''t like. Overall, Royce & Mersh are true "heroes", so I like this episode.
Vick Vega's parole officer's name is Scagnerti. And the cop who is chasing Mickey & Mallory Knox from Natural Born Killers is named Scagnetti
This episode belongs in a museum.
Before this, Tarantino came up with the story for Natural Born Killers and wrote True Romance.
Tarantino spoke about how American audiences reacted the same way you guys did to the ending, not understanding why Orange tells White he's a cop. But that Asian audiences instantly got it was all about honor.
25:10 Captain Marvel took place in 95, based on the Mallrats script Stan Lee was reading in his cameo in the film, so Tarantino did it first.
The editing cut-aways make it funnier.
Do you all think Pink survives in the end or dies off camera?
He gets arrested
Mr. Pink hides out at the restaurant that Vincent takes Mia to in Pulp Fiction and Mr. Pink - plays the waiter.
Oh he dies. You can hear police sirens and gunshots in the background.
@@leopumarejo3400 The script says he gets arrested.
Its boys month it would be awesome if Hack the movies reviews 1996 Swingers 🤞
Surprised no one mentioned this movie is basically a remake of a Japanese film called "City on Fire"
That’s not surprising considering Tarantino pulls from a variety of films, usually obscure ones. He’s been accused of being a “pastiche artist”. Think of someone clipping various images out of a magazine, taping them all together and calling it a new image.
He’s a brilliant and revolutionary filmmaker, but elements of his work admittedly do feel very pastiche.
Hong Kong film actually, and yeah it really is, I’ve seen both, this movie takes so many direct shots and plot points it’s kind of funny no one realized it for so long. I think City on Fire is a better movie actually.
Always wondered if the gecko brothers was apart of this crew at one point
He undid his belt, that helps alot, some people say, Are u Happy It's boy's month....it's our time
I think in the Tarantino-verse, Alabama was the same as Alabama from True Romance
Maybe at the time, but since Tony Scott ended up directing it, it was no longer part of the shared universe
I'm such a QT superfan, and I've seen this movie countless times and know every fact there is, so it's hard to listen to criticism about it usually, but you guys made me laugh lol
I love watching Royce slowly becoming more cool than Mersh and Mersh's grudging acceptance of that fact.
Mr. Pink was the best guy for the job.
He's the first and last one you see holding the bag.
He knew what was most important.
Fun fact this is one of 3 Tarantino films I've never seen before(it's this one, another one I can't remember the name of, and death proof with Kurt Russell)! And I'm a big fan of his work! He's an absolutely brilliant director! Aside from the creepy foot fetish stuff lol
@kdusel1991 Ahh, you gotta watch it sometime.
It's amazing what he did with a 1-3 million dollar budget.
@@robk.6591 really? It cost that much to make death proof
@@kdusel1991 Resevoir Dogs cost 1-3 million
@@kdusel1991 Resevoir Dogs cost 1-3 million.
18:50 There is absolutely a reason why the camera pans away in the Taxi Driver payphone scene, Tony. Scorsese has talked about it. Don't make statements as if they're facts when you don't know for sure if you're right. You're supposed to be a movie guy; a movie buff; a fan of movies. "As Travis gives this speech to her, the camera pans away from him and focuses on an empty hall-as Scorsese put it, the rejection is too painful to watch. Also, the empty hall is itself an image of urban loneliness, of New York desolation." You should've already known this. Do you homework, Tony, so I don't have to waste time writing comments because of your mistake. If you're a fan of movies, don't put out erroneous information about them. You have a great podcast though, except when you make mistakes like this, then it's annoying, but overall it's great. 👍
It's ShaBoys from ROTC. Bout time this episode drops
Tony you should have Royce on more often, his huge muscles make your humongous head look slightly smaller
My absolute favorite movie. My instagram was going to be Mr. Pink cosplay.
It really all depends on how cool your parole officer' wants to be. You'd rather be on parole than probation.
Tony, you're looking slick, paisan! The gym is paying off.
Once Upon A Time is really cool, you'll like it, I think. Danielle Harris even pops up in it.
Well I will keep my eye out on watch for these guests. I despise their opinions on this perfect film. Wrong color necktie fatman
There is an actual female Reservoir Dogs
Reservoir Cats
😅 I wonder if his audience know the Cis boys.
Rewatching for the boys
Be like Mr.Pink!
Two gags that would have fit this movie perfectly is. One start out with a large group of guys, if yall still have the big table from the podcast use it. Could have Mike or Ryan or Justin or whoever ya want or is available, and during the review when yall get to the part of the movie where characters disappear those extra in the review just get up and leave. Two i know it's boys month but to fit this movie should have had one of the female cast do the review with y'all either wearing a fake beard or mustache maybe a bandana to hide their hair in. Just basically dont acknowledge the obvious play it fully straight till the end. Or I know the real Joey C is a manly man but he could have also be the plant if yall didnt use one of the female cast.
holy shit guys, mr pink fucking dies at the end the film
I don’t know how old you fools are but it’s very hard to to describe how much this movie changed our boring suburban lives in that era. I brought it home from the mom&pop video store where I worked and my second stepdad couldn’t get through it because it was “too gross.” Meanwhile they kept the vhs of Beverly Hills Cop on top of the fridge and wouldn’t let me watch it because it was “rated R.” Oh, 90s.
Damn. The Mr. Yellow joke. Perfect.
I loved the video game. I loved the movie.
Mr Pink dies at the end
You guys better show up this month
BOOYYSSS MOONNTTHHHH BABABBYYYYYYY!!
BOYS MONTH TWOOOOOOOO
Woohoo!! Mersh & Royce are the Greatest!!
As a server, you make $2.13 an hour. You live on tips. That you get taxed on. The restaurant is supposed to make up the difference so that you actually make minimum wage. But, they just call you office and bitch at you for not making enough in tips.
Speaking of @mannymuskets please bring him back for boys month, if at all possible... maybe even later in the year, you could introduce him to Crystal & Johanna. An episode with those three would be awesome! Although you may have move the "computer" for it. So all of yall can be on screen at once, even if your stuck in the corner Tony. 😂
Once upon a time, in Hollywood, it is amazing. Maybe his best one yet.
The way it all builds up to the last glorious 15 minutes, it's perfect.
So Manly! But missing Joey C!
i loved hateful 8
not for whatever he said but because it's a joke. one punchline with a hours long setup it was awesome
and the film was also pretty good
hollywood was average
41:47 🤣
Funny episode!!!
This film borrowed so much from Diner
If UA-cam asks I'm awake.
Jackie Brown is my favorite Tarantino film
Big ups lazy Lopez
Bring back salad
Five minutes in, and I'm about to sign-up for the Patreon, just so I can hear Royce's, what I assume to be very racist, joke. 🤣
We edit out jokes here?
This was great 👍
Al A. BAMA
The sunglasses bother me. Get the proper Ray-Bans or don’t wear them. Thank you. Lol.
Pedro Pascal is Chilean you GOOMBA!!!!!!
wow... Royce looks like he gained alotta weight....
I think this is the best Tarantino film. That being said it's just an ok movie to me. The story structure and acting is fun. I'm not a Tarantino fan though. I despise most of the dialogue in his films. His overstimulated, self-indulgent, derivative film making is just not my style.
I would love to talk to Tarantino about movies, I just don't want to watch the ones he makes.
Please have Royce and Pesi again
Meh. Loved it back in the day. No reason to watch it again though
I heard that the tipping in the USA started because black people got payed less. so the customers started to give them money. and over time it escalated and then the restaurants payed less because of tipping. dont know if that is actual true.
Riley looked like a Trump supporter being arrested..... Free Riley
I think its overrated
mersh is weird.
vidoe is the length of a movie, i'm just gonna watch a movie instead
Pedro Pascal isn’t from Mexico. You seriously need to do better, Tony. A flub like that is just plain embarrassing (and also pretty racist).
Yawn.
That was not the captain form 21 jump street 😂
