Unlike the Xoris, the regular charged throw also force procs electricity, meaning you can use it with volatile rebound instead of quick return for a tennokai build. The one that always activates with 4 hits means it can build combo and explode for free with rebound.

I recommend using pressure point instead of CO , CO doesn’t add damage to explosion Also you could go full corrosive and blast because Falcor force proc electric in every explosion, made it good with volatile rebounds
I was wondering if it had the forced procs on the bounce explosions as well. Would that make something like weeping wounds viable if you’re going to actually build combo?
Gotta say man, you have always been my favourite Warframe channel ever since we used to have stamina. This new format is the only style of Warframe video I can watch these days 😅
If you like the Falcor with blast, I would recommend the halikar wraith as it’s a glaive with a forced blast proc. The only element you need to mod on it is electricity which opens up the more mod slots while still being really strong.
I'm pretty sure you already know this, but you can straight up buy the Influence arcane from Bird 3 in exchange for standing. I maxed that thing out almost as soon as I found out how nice it is that way. Maybe you don't wanna burn out on the standing farm though, so that is also understandable. Thanks for your builds, I will try this one for sure! Let's see if it can keep up with the Xoris.
okay, yeah. we had the same reaction to that lv 190 simulacrome test. what the CLEM!? edit: just checked some things. 1 this build (of course) can also work on the xoris. 2. its a 0 forma build, besides the 1 forma need to build the falcore. aka this is a super low investment build that works for 2 glaives, and probably turns the falcore into the 3rd strongest glaive in the game. ps: great video, love the build.
Love your videos as always. Been having a lot of fun seeing and testing out these old weapons with the modern build ideas. If possible I’d love to see a video of the Sarpa. An oldie but a goodie that has been left to the wayside, it’s probably the only gunblade that has sniper like range on its ranged shots.
Heyyy i dont usualy comment on videos but i just wanted to say that i like your content so much and im always happy to see your videos, it makes me want to play warframe :)) Thanks a lot for doing what you are doing :>
I've made a build for the Falcor that uses the improved tracking alongside Melee Influence to prime enemies. Kinda fun to just throw it out and let it do it's own thing. Turns out bouncing around also builds combo, and since tennokai also triggers from time to time, it's possible to get these lovely big numbers.
Also, I highly recommend the tenet grigori with blast using a tennokai setup. The slide heavy inputs take some getting used to, but once you get into it it's DELIGHTFUL. Ideally you'd use either a heat or cold Grigori for pure blast with Duplicate or blast on mods plus an elec Grigori for Influence. I've been using the heavy crit on light attack arcane with pure blast and it's been totally fine, though - deletes acolytes!
Yup. Made a short demo myself, the Falcor is actually good now thanks to Melee Influence. Falcor and Xoris, Pathocyst and I'd argue the Halikar Wraith are all giving the Glaive Prime a run for its money. One thing people might not like though is the auto-tracking, I feel many prefer having full control over where the Glaive flies to. But this can be countered by using Whirlwind.
i was rolling melee rivens last night and got one for the falcor and almost just dissolved it but I stopped myself literally with the thought 'youre gonna see MCGamer put out a Falcor video one day and wish you kept that riven'.. and here we are not even 24 hours later, me getting ready to spend some kuva getting a decent roll. Would love to see you do something with Kulstar, or Jat Kusar or Jat Kittag
Most glaives that aren’t Glaive Prime have been fairly underrated. Cerata has been busted against the Corpus while the Falcor has been fairly good but flying under the radar. It’s been my fave glaive for years and now it’s even better.
Im early for once and its for one of my favorite weapons! I love all the glaives in warframe so it saddens me people only talk about glaive prime and xoris, glad you're giving Falcor some love
you should give wolf sledge a try, it has forced blast on throw and high status chance! melee influence works wonders with blast because of the stacking aoe!
Yeah Condition overload as well as the gun versions don’t affect any kind of explosions/AoE, only direct hits on enemies, so stuff like the shedu reload for example also doesn’t get affected by it. It’s unfortunate, but hey, on some weapons gun CO is multiplicative, so putting additive weapon damage mods gets you insane damage numbers. Lose some, Win some.
I got a riven for the Falcor and figured I’d give it a try. Fell in love. My main melee now. Melee influence with gas means chaining multiplicative DOT clouds on paralyzed enemies. Absolutely stupid.
One missed feature, is this weapon is homing, if you throw in the general position of an enemy, it will fly towards it after it gets half way, i used it a lot on Fortuna open world to get those pesky crewman behind cover
Mr. Yuotubeman, will you ever do a "combo"build of weapon and frame? I started to test a bit combo of Arcane Battery + Secondary surge on Inaros, it seems very interesting. I also found out that Melee fortification does not only give 210 armor for 10 seconds, but can stack infinetly (my top was 23 stacks each 210 armor), which can also contribute to armor for the Arcane Battery.
Missed opportunity, the Falcor procs electricity on a regular throw, meaning the best build for this is actually a volatile rebound one that stacks to 12x combo
CO doesn't even apply to the explosion, and if I'm not mistaken you weren't manually exploding the throw, which deals even more damage than the explosion on contact
I have been messing with this weapon's riven, here is some testing result: - dual element such as, radiation - electric, or blast - electric works very poorly so pure electricity still the best. - in case you go for magnetic, dont. DE really make it so that magnetic doesn't trigger melee influence easily. On the other hand toxin can works well but use it with your own risk. - best posible outcome for this weapon's riven is: crit - crit damage - electric and minus anything but attack speed and fraction damage. - good luck!
I once again must advocate you join the funny big red number club and get wrathful advance, while it makes little gameplay difference it feels so much better to overkill everything in a room with a few milion double red crit explosion that propagates even further. Also if you hopefully soon do make sure to invert tap/hold on it.
Sir, I absolutely recommend you to try a volatile rebound build, specially on heavy status thrown weapons like falkor or halikar, since you can go to 12 combo and use weeping wounds. And halikar is blast and blast is good now
Falcor vs. Xoris Heavy Explosion: - 1380 vs. 1000 Electricity - 16% vs. 22% Crit - 2x v. 2.4x Crit Multi - 38% vs. 20% Status - 6m vs. 9m Radius - 1.3 vs. 0.65 Riven Disposition They are different enough to each other, surprisingly. Testing both currently, and I think the higher base status chance of Falcor makes it feel better as an Influencer unlike Xoris. Biting my butt right now as well, because I had a Falcor Riven at some point...
Honestly since you don't need Tennokai, might as well add something funny on the exilus slot like Dispatch Overdrive or Guardian Derrison. That second one might actually be funnier since you could reach max combo by just blocking for like a second and get an even funnier damage number.
when you get to about 7 or 8 enemys, the quardatic scaling of this setup just ubernukes anything in that range. ive run around with disciplines merit on this kind of setup, it does work, only issue is it only counts 1 hit per throw no matter how many bounce hits you get off a enemy. unless they changed it since i last played, but i dont expect this to change.
What about Gunsen Prime? Nobody really remembers the warfan weapons because of their short range. Biggest problem is that the only good stance is a PITA to get being quite rare from Railjack.
