How does he still look so good almost 20 years later I was like 13 when he was on American Idol. I'm 32 now and at no point did I find him hot until now😂😂
I'm really old lol, 59 now, but I've always thought he was very hot. I loved him from the beginning, and I personally voted for him 250 times right before he got kicked off the show. I was heartbroken! I checked the message boards, tons of ppl had voted for him! None of us could understand how he didn't have enough votes to stay on the show! Especially when the other guy they called the soul patrol ended up winning. That was ridiculous. But it was ok. I've loved everything I've heard him sing. If you don't watch the masked singer, you need to check out videos of him on there!! I had already guessed who it was, after only a couple of songs. All of the judges loved him, but they couldn't figure out who he was, because they didn't normally listen to him, and prob didn't watch him on American idol. And btw, when I voted for him, we didn't have cell phones like nowadays. Only the cheap burner ones were out, and if the other kinds of phones were out, they were too expensive for me. So, I called on our landline! It was crazy! Have you seen him on his latest video? The one where he is singing about about Artificial Intelligence? He is all buff with a six pack!! Love him! And yeah, lol, I could see how he wasn't cute to you when you were 13 LoL.
I watched Chris’ audition last night. I can’t help but think that Simon knew the other 2 judges were gonna vote yes and Chris would move on to Hollywood. Simon didn’t want Chris to think it was that easy and voted no.
He made it to the top 5! That’s almost impossible for a rock singer on American Idol. If he won it would have ruined his career because he would have been told what music to make just like Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood at the start of their careers. I think it would have hurt his creativity and he wouldn’t be who he is today.

The thing about Simon is that in the early days at least, he wanted an "American Idol" to look as good as they sang. I'm sure if SImon had any doubts it was more because Chris was a slightly older, married bald guy and didn't quite fit that type.

We Saw Daughtry last night! Amazing show! As much as we love the other bands Daughtry had us hooked, and we are hoping we get to see him play a show where its just daughtry and no one else. He has too many hits for a 30 minute segment.
I'm not sure if it was Idol or the other talents shows, he told a woman it sounded like there were two of her singing, like two voices coming out. The woman mentioned it to a doctor, they did tests and discovered a malignant tumor on her vocal cords
Simon was wrong about Chris and wrong about Gary Barlow . He needs to focus more on talent and less on image. Simon never likes anyone who doesn’t look perfect.

I saw him in concert in Columbus. Make no mistake. I like his music but the concert was my 2nd least favorite ever. (Tim McGraw remains my #1 worst concert.) Maybe it was just an off night but Daughtry had zero energy. Wasn’t engaging at all. Robotic and unemotional. I’d never pay to see him again.
