    Man that thing just floats, that’s crazy. Be nice if there were any newer setups like that, those things are rare.

    I’ve never seen anyone jump cut, only heard about it. I’ve heard it called “tabletop “ in my neck of the woods. Looks sketchy as hell! But, it’s clear that experience and an understanding of wood characteristics is needed.

    I know everything cost money but have you thought of adding the sweeps to the front of your R.O.P.S. Not having the rock guards cover those bottom rollers makes it so much easier to clean out. I can tell you take great care of it. Very handy little machine. Cheers.

      I’m going to add the sweeps and add some cages in the future.

    I know you’re a busy man I was wondering if you would be willing to somehow give me some advice in regards to selling walnut logs . Cut a bunch early winter and most valuable 3sided log paid 4.50/cad sold to mill down the road. Buying cable skidder and cutting next patch this season and don’t want to get completely fkd there’s some large veneer logs in there. Ontario Canada. Any advice much appreciated man good job with the channel so far videos keep getting better thanks

    • @Good.Fellers
      @Good.Fellers  5 місяців тому +1

      Im no expert in Canadian Walnut but I would assume that the trees that far north would be slow growing and not of the quality most American Veneer companies want. Again I’m not familiar with the area. I would guess there could be an exporter there you could find. ?

      @@Good.Fellers Nice dozer. the serial # will tell the tail of the year i didnt know they made 450s in the 60's. I'm in Alaska and have seen many wide track 450's all of them were beat to sh!t urs is the best 1 i've seen in years. i have an 1982 450c with 16''pads and a backhoe>> the thing is useless as a dozer with the backhoe on but that beats a shovel any day. The floatation on the wide tracks is crazy. I saw a super wide track for sale once it looks like that thing could drive on top of packing peanuts:0

    Hey Goodfellers I have a question.... what fuel mixture do you use 50:1, 40:1 or 30:1? When I bought my 2 395's husquvarna recommends 50:1 , I figured I'd ask because you would be the man to ask especially about 395's

    • @Good.Fellers
      @Good.Fellers  4 місяці тому +2

      I buy orange stihl 5 gallon mixers and mix it with 4 gallons of premium pump gas. I think that’s about 40:1.
      395s are not up to epa standards so they recommend running 50:1 for cleaner exhaust, and they only let so many in the country a year for the same reason. I was told these things by a Husqvarna rep 10 years ago.

    • @ryanpoole4795
      @ryanpoole4795 4 місяці тому +2

      A few months a ago I bought 2 395's and I love the power, I'm a hardcore husky fan, I think I may start running 40:1 now that you said that to keep them lubed up more, stihl makes good saws but I personally don't think stihl will hang with a husky in the cut
