Also, the best way to have brought Indy back would have been to have another Young Indiana Jones Chronicles series. Let Ford play the older Indy, looking back on his adventures, while younger actors do all the heavy lifting.

The destruction of Indiana Jones was the last straw for me. Our ruined franchises, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and Star Trek to name a few, are like blocks of cheese with mold on one end. We need to chop off the moldy bit and enjoy the wholesome cheese. So just disregard things like IJ 4 and 5, the sequel trilogy in Star Wars and any Kurzman Star Trek.
@@raymathews1474 Any franchise or IP that just keeps going will eventually be ruined. It's heartbreaking the first time it happens to something you cared deeply about. It gets easier every time unfortunately. For me it was the combination of the Clone Saga and One More Day in the Spider-man comics.

As a lifelong indy fan i hated dial of destiny with a passion, whatever you say about crystal skull (i actually liked it) it ended on a happy note with indiana jones finding out he has a son and marrying the love of his life Marion 😊

And KK and Iger are in their 70s, one way or another they're going to be gone soon, and so will their butt kissing sycophants.
I knew watching the 1st Indiana movie I knew there was something special. Crystal Skull was my second movie of Indy I saw. CS isn't good but gives you a better epilogue to the OG trilogy. Good I never saw Dial
