I wish i could have that inequality calculator in my watch Beside this video was super cooll i understand inequality concepts clarifying all my weakness in it thank you sir❤
I was expecting him to explain how he got the -7 and 2 from the factor(x+7)(x-2). If I hadn’t watch other videos before this, I would have been guessing!
@@ChaosInFluff-vh7bh Because it's the roots/zero's/x-intercepts of the quadratic. The solution of a quadratic is the x-intercepts(x,0) which is when a line touches x while y is zero and a quadratic has two x-intercepts unless it doesn't go through the x-axis. When you factor out a quadratic into say (x+7) (x-2) you want to rewrite it as x+7=0, and x-2=0 because y or f(x) = 0 (when it comes to quadratic x-intercepts) and you want to solve for x when y is zero. Plus it doesn't change the equation which makes it easy to solve for x. To solve for x in algebra you need to say move the 7 to the other side of the =, and move the 2 to the other side of the =, but when you move numbers on different sides of the = you have to switch integers (such as +7 = -7 and -2 = +2) TLDR below: TLDR: Because to solve for the x-intercept of a quadratic, the brackets must equal 0 like: x+7=0 and x-2=0, then using algebra solve for x which usually is the opposite sign, x = -7 and x = +2 P.s I'm still practicing teaching things I learned as I'm still learning myself, so I hope I explained it well enough :)
@@ChaosInFluff-vh7bh algebraically you set each factor equal to zero and solve for x, x+7=0, you subtract 7 on both sides to isolate which ends up giving X=-7, vice versa.
anyone else love how satisfying it is the way he draws the parabolas? so smooth and perfect!
I thought this was going to be super hard but this video literally proves how stupid i am😂 ahh i overthink too much.
ikr i was like omg there are no videos online, its so hard! but tbh its just like linear ones haha
My brain aint braining
Great video, really helped me out, thank you so much.
Thank you so much I have a test on this!!!
I love your videos and IT IS FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT I HAVE EVER SUBSCRIBED IN UA-cam !!!//THANKYOU SO MUCH ^^^^
How find domain and range of y‐1
Thank you so much, you saved me on my math final
Great Video ! Really helped me out !
this guys got a great voice.
Thank you! Math made simple!
Nice video! Keep em coming!
fuck dude thanks now instead of failing the test I'll get a C
cmon u can defo do better
@@lCookiel i got a B!! Thanks 🙏we did it

He didn’t explain how to find the vertex.
How do you graph y
So u gotta find the vertex first then u have graph it concave down because a is negative. Then color in the inside of the parabola with a dotted line

Do you know why it’s like that?

I have an exam so this is perfect @@manavclips
How do you know the vertex?
Vertex is basically x. You can get it by using the formula -b/2a
how did he solve y
Vertex form
by completing the square
you did not solve for the vertex though?
You don't need to
All you need to do is plug in the line of symmetry
@@wyattwilliamson5896for the x value,but no y value
Thank youuu
Thanks alot❤
oh my god it makes sense
YOU ARE FUCKING AWESOME THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You won’t see this but thank you
Thank you
this is wrong if you put your equation into a graphing calculator the y wont be 14
Thank you i failed my test
Thank you
