This is so good. Musicianship of outstanding quality and vocals to die for. Despite the subject matter, a ridiculously catchy chorus. and probably my favourite guitar work of all three tracks so far. what an album this will be.
This was absolutely amazing. Powerful and extremely emotional. Everything from the instrumentals to the vocals were on point and so melodic, beautifully done, dark, and gorgeous. Probably my favourite track yet.
This song hit home for me the very moment that I read the message in the beginning. I lost someone close to me to addiction in 2018, and had a month long struggle with alcohol to cope with the loss. But after a heavy conversation with those closest to me, along with an ER visit, I stopped binge drinking. This month will mark four years since then, and I'd be a fool to say that music - particularly songs like this -- hasn't played a role in helping me get through every near relapse. Thank you, Dear Mother, for such a powerful, relatable song that has become a source of continuous personal strength since its very release.
My God what could be next. I'm beginning to get emotional about these songs. So Damn Good. Isn't that what makes a song really good? It stirs something inside you. It makes you want to sing along Dance and punch a hole in the sky?

What a great song! At first time I was just watching the great music video David had created from these 'home videos'. You're just so creative, David! It's just awesome what you've done if the base was just home made phone video captures. Also thanks to Merel and Joey for sending you so well done shoots fitting for this purpose. Well, after being so fascinated by the video, I decided to scroll it 'up' and read the lyrics. That was the time when music hit my brain. So powerful. I love it! It will be interesting if David's hand written lyrics are same than under video. Spot the difference :P
It takes many times until you can find all of the guitar and drum things going on. Rhythm changes and riffs, every time you can find new things which is awesome. Downside is that it's not good for background music, attention will be on song.

Create some song what would be played at the malls, something what I can listen after 30 years and say to my grandchildren 'this was a mall hit when I was middle aged.
