I tried looking for solutions and one of it was deleting the local thumb cache file. Is it safe to delete the file? Im just asking bcs im unsure and scared T_T ps. Hey! No worries 💜 I think the biggest reason for this is missing mesh. I have a video up on my channel that explains the difference between the color and the mesh. But basically you need both. With clothing and hair a lot of creators make recolors of existing pieces. When that happens you need to download the mesh (the original file) separately from the original creator's website. If the CC creator who did the recolor is doing it right, they should have listed the original creator's name so you should be able to find that. If you cannot find the mesh or the CC wasn't updated for a long time you just have to accept that it will not work. Unfortunately there is a lot of broken cc out there. I don't have a video yet on how to find broken cc (I might make this in the future). There are plenty of tutorials that can help you with tools like Sims 4 Studio to easily find the broken cc and take out those files! Hopefully this answer helps 💜
I have a custom built pc, so if you want I can look up the specs if you want. But unfortunately I cannot share what pc I bought because all the parts were ordered separately and built specifically for me ☺️
