I have used Lightroom since it started. I am getting a little fed up of it. I still use photoshop which is great with NIK 6. I’ve just started using Photolab 7 and find it more to my liking. Takes time to get used to but with the help of your videos i am finding easier.
I guess we get so used to using something a certain way, but I have found PL7 is quite well worked out in terms of the layout. It actually does make sense. Glad to know someone is finding my videos helpful.
Hi Julie, is there a global reset button? after making edits I may want to go back to the original image. How do I reset all the edits and adjustments with one click?
I mu admit I am really enjoying using it this last few weeks and will be using it more and more. Do you also use other DXO products like Nik or Film pack?
I REALLY wanted to like Photolab 7, but one major drawback is that it will NOT read DNG photos from my Samsung Galaxy S20+. JPEG's obviously, no problem, but the DNG files, no way.
Sadly there are a number of phones DXO does not support that create DNG files. It has been requested to the team to address this, but it's unknown at this stage if that will happen or not. So the only option is to use JPGs - sorry. Otherwise its still a great program for raw files.

Hi David in the Customise panel (where you edit) there is a RESET button, top right hand corner. I hope that helps?
And use it together with Luminar AI and NEO
I havent tried it with Luminar yet, but good to know, thanks

@@JuliePowellPhotos Can you use TIFF files for editing instead of JPEG?
@@jordanking7711 Hi Jordan I believe it will work with tiff and jpeg.
