Alexander, I am ready 👑
*I will do everything*
MY GOD SHE CANNOT BE MORE BEAST AND MORE QUEEN THAN SHE ALREADY IS
@@brisafranca8067 That why she got injured!!...Humbleness and wisdom are not her attributes.
I will do everything and then lose my chances on getting the gold medal!! Lol!!
@@minion0777 Even my father who doesn't watch gymnastics know that she didn't get injured in the american cup but in 2011 worlds with her amanar... She didn't fall in the 3.5 on floor nor in the side aerial+onodi+aerial
Aliya is such an example of resilience, she's admirable! That combined with a great attitude towards her competitors and the determination with which she lead the Russian team with all of her experience, she's definitely a gem that will forever be missed on the podium.
The real Russian gymnastics queen!!
Aliya will always be our warrior. She is my hero
She is the true Russian gymnastics queen!!
Aliya will always be remembered as one of the most powerful gymnast, even if she had a big injury in 2011,she still proved she could do her best and that's one of the things that makes me admire her
Aliya won a medal as a mother. Beast. ❤️
I can only imagine what musta could do without this injury
“I will do everything” WHAT A QUEEN
It's sad to see how much people pound on Alicia for what happened in Beijing, it wasn't entirely her fault and she isn't a bad gymnast either. Her accomplishments speak for themselves.
The form of Alicia Sacramone is very clean; her double tucked Arabian and Chusovitina vault are certainly very well executed.
I think he forgot to include that Alicia Sacramone also won the vault bronze medal in 2005 behind Cheng Fei and Oksana Chusovitina.
I just love Aliya's stubbornness hahahha. Post surgery, she knows what she's good at and she knows her weakest and worked on it. A true athlete indeed.
Aliya was supreme. Great tenacity and determination. I believe she is the only gymnast to win a medal after giving birth. I think she'll be a fabulous coach.
Alicia was wrongly accused of loosing the Gold. Even if she'd maxed out both scores that she fell on, the US team would have still gotten silver.
Oksana Chusovitna won a bronze on vault in Beijing. Her kid was about ten at that time, I think. She's also won other world medals after becoming a mother :)
@@gracea6807 she won silver in Beijing 😉
I teared up watching Aliya oh my God I love her. She’s just such an inspiration and is the personalization of determination and strength. My god I love her. I miss her soooo much. ALIYA I MISS YOUUUUU!!!😭😭😭😭
Finally a Recognition for Alicia 🥺🥺🥺 I am so proud.
It hurts so bad when people discount all her achievements because of what happened in Beijing. I hope this helps people (that used to criticize her) to understand even more that her efforts are more important than fee mistakes. And to all the athletes ❤️❤️❤️
Wow I have started to love this series. Great editing, loved the vidoe🤩🤩
Thank you 🤩
if aliya never had that ingury she probably would have been as good as simone or aly
Yes I think so perhaps not Simone but she would have been a formidable opponent she could push Simone further
@@daiseycasey2718. Agreed.
She is as good. She was as good. She has nothing to improve or to proove to be at their side. She is as good as them. No less
@@alexandreluizalves So true. To me personally she's better because I prefer her artistry to sheer power gymnastics. But that's just my personal opinion.
she could have won the AA gold in 2012
I mean there's no chance of her coming back and bars is hotly contested enough this quad, but what beauty it would have been for her to medal at Tokyo after being a mother.
Aliya!!! 👑👸🏻👑
Alicia Should have won Silver on Vault in Beijing . Oksana’s difficulty was only 0.2 higher and her form was much worse. Alicia’s form was textbook
Thank you so much for this video!
Poor Alicia...that's unfair to blame her for that loss, when the math doesn't compute
Right? Even without Falls the US would have been 2nd
People had to have a scapegoat unfortunately, and she was seen as the villain. Immature thinking, but many people are like that.
Mustafina has a killer game-face.
lol right? She could scare the apparatus with that death stare, so fierce.
Love Aliya ❤️🙏🌷
Aliya is my favorite gymnast, she is so fiery and strong
Can you add captions to the screens with soundwaves please?
Alicia Sacramone, you comeback from career Gymnast.
So messed up they blamed alicia. I did not think we got silver because of her. If anything i felt compassionate
I adore Alicia
Mykayla skinner NEEDS to be in your next one !
you should do a part 3 with Vanessa Ferrari
The legendary Oksana Chusovitina is someone you shouldn't miss!!
Has she ever like officially retired? I mean she said she will stop competing after the last three olympics but as far as I know she never really retired
One thing about Aliya having the knee injury- she likely wouldn’t be a two time bars Olympic champion! That incident made her a queen on uneven bars.
Imagine if your mom is an Olympic gold medalist
Wait so Aliya has retired from gymnastics? I thought she was preparing for Tokyo 202One…
She stopped training in 2019 due to lack of motivation, according to her. She was hoping taking a break would rekindle her fire. But she's coaching the junior team now, although she has not officially put out a statement saying "I'm done".
@@gymnasticsmasterclass Okay thanks for explaining!
Love it, where is part 1?

@@TiredRi thanks
It was not Alicia’s fault. The Chinese team was just better.
A fall was 0.8 points but a part from that the judges deduct points for the execution of the skill you have fallen of
Also didn't she fall on floor as well?
The amount she ended up losing still wouldn’t have made the difference. Besides, both Nastia and Shawn had bobbles in a couple of places themselves- so that should factor in as well.
Is Aliya even real?!!!
Yes
Contenders for Part 3: Vanessa Ferrari, Rebeca Andrade
I love Aliya but I'd be scared to have her as a coach haha. There would be no excuse not to train.
She’s actually been described as an excellent, caring coach with her junior athletes. Tough? Absolutely, but you have to be if you want to be an Olympian- but she still treats them with respect just as her coach did with her.
Aliya wow it’s sad she had to downgrade her routine because when she complicated it the judges didn’t appreciate it. Explains why so many gymnasts routines are simple when they could do more complicated but they don’t want to risk it so they choose simple
First
Aliyah was the strength of the Russian team unlike, her overhyped team mate Viktoria Komova. Always preferred Aliyah for her resilience and mental strength.
About Alicia's falls, I'm sorry but losing by .775 is inherently better than losing by 2.375. Also a fall allows for more deductions than just the fall itself. There are form breaks and loss of connections and even entire elements sometimes. Not to mention the psychological effect it has on every girl and routine who comes after it. Of course the pressure was immense regardless but you throw in someone costing you over a point and a half in deductions and it puts even more pressure on the others to try to make up for it. All that being said, no I don't think it was all Alicia's fault or that she should get hateful comments thrown at her for what happened. But to suggest her bare minimum 1.5 points of deductions for the 2 falls wasn't a major factor in the loss is just overcompensating for the unnecessary hate and blame she received.
You also have to remember at that time a fall was only 0.8 deduction not a full 1 as it is now. So her falls couldn't have covered all the difference between Silver and Gold.
@@donaldholderdoc2910 as I said, they still would have lost by .775 but that's better than losing by more than 2 points. But there's also the intangible psychological effect. If she hadn't fallen twice the mental state of the rest of the team would have been very different and who knows how much better they might have performed without feeling like they needed to be extra perfect to make up for their teammate's mistakes.
The fact of the matter is that they lost. And they were gonna lose regardless. Quite honestly I hate even calling it "losing"- it's the friggin' Olympics! Silver is A MASSIVE win!
Rehashing the falls and their potential effect on teammates... Repeating all the could have/would have/should have scenarios that Alicia herself no doubt obsessed over does nothing but pour salt into old wounds. The moment the falls occurred, they were done. All that mattered was moving forward. All these years later it does no good to go after her- especially when she continued proving her resilience and talent.
