In this video, we show you this hack to use on ikea or any other brand of cabinets. Instead of using a kick duct kit, you can use a party tray and get the same results. Many installers only make the vent cut out and install the grille at the toe-kick, in addition, we like to install the party tray if the customer wants to and if they don't have the duct kit, so the air goes straight through the vent cutting out towards the room and does not circulate underneath cupboards unnecessarily.
A great idea with the pan but it feels like the pan would make a great liner for a ply wood install. I wonder how long that would last without the plywood? It will be hard to get back under the cabinet after install. Great video!

Is there a way to seal the front of the aluminum pan to the back of the toe-kick? Seems there will be air loss there.....
