Do you ever just "back up " and elevator down to the LZ / Launch area ? I remember doing that frequently at the Dallas Road site in Victoria B.C. I remember once, when the wind was blowing a steady 28 to 30 mph with a 30degree crosswind compontent, flying for more than an hour without making a turn. I would just speed up to penatrate upwind, then slow up (and climb ) and back up all the way down the ridge ,back to our on top LZ . So much fun. Great videos as always . Thanks
Love the way you touch down like a bird. Couple of questions. Does craning your neck for hours lead to a stiff neck? How do you "relieve" yourself if on a long flight? Maybe that explains why only 10-15% of pilots are women. Guys can just pull their fly down.
Hey Paul, how do i catch up with you guys? Here on Holiday from NZ. Been in the Far North flying Rex`s lookout with the locals up there for a couple of months and now in Lithgow NSW seeing some family. Bought a nice old Fun 190 to fly while i`m here in Oz. Bit cooler here than in Cairns but if there`s flying to be had i`d take a chance with the temps. Can`t be colder than flying in NZ at the moment. A couple of hrs away from the coast i think, no probs,,,
G'day mate , there's also blackheath which isn't far from Lithgow. You can come down to Wollongong and stay at mine and I can show you Hill 60 in a ne , the world's greatest in a northerly and stanwell south to ese, depending on the weather, dm me johnypaulstewart@gmail.com , we have a good crew down here👌
No worries mate have plenty of gliders and harnesses you can use send us a message at johnypaulstewart@gmail.com and I'll give you my number , the gully is about 80 klms south of Sydney and Stanwell is even closer 👌

Took me a while to work out the white spot high in the south east was a mark on the camera fixed on the grass!
