It's unreal, seeing my local favourite spot on the Nene about 10 minutes from home and a place that I lure fish all season......Plenty of that sized Pike and plenty of Perch and I don't have many blanks in this area.....Pink lures always work well here...... I tend to Pike fish this bit with a 7-24g rod with 16lb braid and also take a 10-40g with 30lb braid rod....both baitcast setups and I alternate with Perch sized lures on the light rod and medium lures on the other but I do use a wire trace on the lighter setup and a 0.9mm flouro on the medium one.....not Fox gear. For Perch I do use Fox gear with a Warrior Ultralight 2-8g rod and 1000 reel and the other setup is a Warrior Perch Jigger 7-21g rod with a 2500 reel and 12lb flouro leader on both setups.....rarely lose a Pike with flouro anyway. There are a few heavy snags downstream of the weir that do claim lures but it's well worth fishing it.....And The PDAA bailiffs are excellent blokes..... My biggest one from this area just scraped double figures at 10lb 5oz but great fun on light gear....
Amazing 🙂 sounds like you got it all figured out! It's a good job Adam decided to go down the lighter approach and go for numbers instead of trying for the bigger fish. Now onto his next mission 🎣 Best of luck with the remaining river season 👍🏼
Great stuff Adam- and definitely the first time I've seen anyone squeak a fox on a fishing video! 😂
We’ve never had anyone speak before, but there’s been a few quackers in the past though! We’ll let him off as it was a Fox 🦊😂🎣 Thanks for watching
Another good video, mate!
Thanks for watching and keep an eye out for the next one 🙂🎣
Nice one Adam!
We’re glad you enjoyed it, how about another challenge for Adam? 🤔
Great session you caught loads on them small shads
Thanks for watching, yes they’re great shads for catching numbers of fish specially for a challenge. What would you like to see Adam target next? 🤔
@@FoxRageTV could do a quest for a topwater pike
@@FoxRageTV perch fishing with crank baits would be good.

no need to wet the measuring mat when it's fabric ?
You do, but not that often on a freezing cold day 🥶🎣
Adam should do a challenge to get 100 cm of perch 🎣
Great idea! but i bet i could do 1000 cm!
