As you can see, I probably need an F tier or something lol. C tier got a bit bloated, and the line between C+ and B- was pretty blurry. An extra tier would have helped a lot. But either way, you ideally won't be using units below B unless your account is in a pretty bad state, or the content forces it, so it's probably not a big deal overall.

Im so sad they made my boy Vayne so bad. I was really looking forward to using him a lot in parties but was really disappointed to learn he wasn't great. I hope in the future they release more variants that aren't so bad.

The only difference between global and JP right now for the purposes of this tier list is that JP has more characters, so some characters that would be otherwise A/S tier have been pushed down due to that. (like marie is S and logy/ryza are A on global atm) any of the top tier characters are still top tier regardless of the existence of the tournament
Firis is a bane of my existance. I have been trying to clear Wind tower 2 to get access to the Tome of Wind for my Escha. Firis is my only wind attacker and she is so weak and slow. I'd take Tao over her any time if he would be available in wind. I think I'll have to do some sort of restoration / tanking team so I can heal infinitely, so she can have enough time to actually kill anything. Anyway, my point is she is honestly worse than Tao in my opinion. Her raw damage is like 10% stronger than Tao, but Tao can make 3 attacks in the same time frame she can do just two. The time delaying mechanic is honestly as likely to harm you as it is to actually help you. She has the single worst dps in the game, Corneria has more damage than her. Sure dps is not really as important as solid one time hits in many cases, but still.
As someone who got XMasResna by accident from a daily pull, sparked Izana and want to pull for Lanze because i like him it´s great to see that these units are doing pretty well
I love new years Marie. I rarely use her though, as in most cases, I want the normal Marie on my team. I am happy to know that soonish on global we will be able to have multiple units of the same character on a team. Though I don't think I'd really want both Marie's in most circumstances, but still.
It's strange to see that ranking for Slash and the first 4 places are not from that element, but it helps to see who are the most broken in certain circumstances, such as Shallotte which is considered a bad unit for being a hybrid between 2 classes.
The characters in the ranking are just their profile character, has nothing to do with the teams used until they post their runs it's impossible to know what team they used
she's not a relevant damage dealer on JP due to being unable to benefit from the dmg buff A trait (there is no equivalent for supporters) you can make supports do damage but you would almost never do so nowadays except for fun

There's only one thing i disagree with, and that is Rorona's placement. She goes in Pie tier, obviously.
