YAMAHA SR 250 - SCRAMBLER - episode 4

  • Опубліковано 13 вер 2024
  • Series of videos for a full modification of a Yamaha SR 250 into a scrambler-style bike.
The donor was pretty destroyed and completely rust, so lots of cleaning, restoration, and new parts on this one!.
Time for the Fourth episode of the SR250 series, this particular bike will have more episodes than normal episodes because instead of the full modification and restoration of the bike, the videos are showing more in detail all the work done.

Cleaning - always the worst (or dirtiest) job of all. But also the most satisfying when it’s completed. I love the feel of reassembling clean components 😉.
    Love your videos.

As a child in the 70s , I watched my father do this with countless volkswagens. I hated doing it, it was dirty, sticky, and uncomfortable. Now, helping raise a 21 year old who works as a mechanic, I wish I had forced myself to learn patience and skill to take on projects like this. Cheers for a great video series. 🤘

Great job!! I only want to know if you can achieve the Technical Cheking of your country (because of the new blinkers, lamp,...) or it is only exposition motorbikes. Thank you!

only just discoverd this build hence the multiple comments... but i notice in the previous vid you used solid bard to join the loop to the frame.... if you use the same dimeter tube as the loop but cut a slit in it the spigots work the same and also alow you to pass the wiring for the tail light/ inicators through the frame...
