Trash Truck Hopper View ASL (H41)

End of the day picking up MSW on a subscription route in a split body Side loader.
For the inevitable questions.. This Split body is used on a 4 day co-mingle route and the company prefers to keep the driver in the truck instead of sitting idle. So it's used on this heavy trash route which used to be done in a Front Loader.
This route is usually done in 2 loads averaging about 13-15 tons total. This particular day was a single load but it packed out in the end.

I love the popping and screaming of the garbage bags when the squeezer is activated
What i do not understand is who thinks and builds this squeezer design
It could be much better like for example
Let that squeezer squeez /push the garbage bags enz much further/deeper into the body of the garbagetruck then it gets packed much tighter
And you can squeeze more garbagebags in the truck
