Experience the Indianapolis Colts war room during the 2019 NFL Draft to hear the trade calls and watch GM Chris Ballard and the scouts make their picks.
Sam Bennett Same here, and I’m a Titans fan. I love (and envy) what Chris Ballard and Indy are doing. Colts are gonna be a force in the league for the next ten years. If Mariota can stay healthy, I hope Tennessee can really compete for the AFC South. Tough division.
As a Browns fan, this was really fun to watch. It was like watching Draft Day but in real life. Very cool and I hope other teams make videos like this. Well done Colts!
I usually watch Draft Day each year sometime within a week of the NFL draft. This year I didn't get it done, but watching this series proved way better.
chris --- well , it was a bit uncomfortable as ballard was dealing away the first pick...lots of uneasyness in the room. It's like this huge build-up then getting a gut punch when he is basically giving away pick 26 to the Redskins just because he has a pick near the top of the 2nd round (which wasn't part of the deal).....it's like saying, lets give up 20 spots in the draft just so you can have an unknown 2nd round pick next year , but oh by the way, i already have this high 2nd i'll use and I don't see anyone I want.... well there were plenty of players on the board that other people in that war-room would have liked to have drafted.....it's on all their faces. Having said all of that, the only thing that ruins Ballard at this point is that if Montez Sweat turns out to be a beast....all things point to that, but let's wait and see.
I love love love how Ballard focuses on character first because we all know if you have bad characters (Steelers) you wont win a locker room chemistry is the biggest thing in sports
@@kalia213 true reich makes everyone on offense look good im so happy we have him and matt eberflus who makes our defense top 15 who would've thought our defense would be top 15
Irsay is like that drunk uncle at family events who puts an arm around you as a loving gesture at first, but eventually because he can't walk without your help.
Yeah he does but it looks like he also has a great relationship with the coaching staff. Seeing how him and frank are on the same page makes me really excited about the future
Marquise Parker -- it's good to see this film, because it's clear that they could have played hardball with 'Skins and gotten a 4th or 5th this year or next thrown in to the pot (you can't get it if you don't ask for it). Missed out on a great opportunity. Instead they have to go 20 spots down (with this redskins trade) ..... brutal ---- >> also, Banogu went way too early, passed up great talent on the board when he went early. Would have been available at next pick, no doubt. Not even a whisper from other teams about this guy.
This is just so so cool. Man what I wouldn’t do to be a fly on the wall in there just to watch how all of this goes down. Seeing all these people working so hard working their strategy just gives me a whole new vision of what all it takes to be a successful football team. I Don’t know if other teams do this for their fans, but this just stokes me to no end just being able to watch this. As a fan, this oddly makes me really feel a part of the team. I know it sounds wired, I just can’t find the right words to express how we as Colts fans are so so privileged to be a part of a GREAT team. So thank you Colts people for thinking of us so much to allow us to see this. I love the behind the scenes. GOOOOOOOOOOO COLTS !
As a soon to be 60 year old Browns fan when first I heard We were going to Indy for the second week of pre season I was stoked !! 2 of the NFL's long time Franchises both tops in their divisions prior to going to the AFC together sharpening each other for the upcoming Season it is like a 40 year time warp. I'm hopping We both stay healthy and meet in January like it should be Go Browns and Go Colts !!!!
One Eyed Jacks as a colts fan we love you guys for convincing McDaniels to stay and letting us get Kenny Moore I think this is the year the rivalry starts again for the first time since Peyton left
@@zds8291 -- When your cornerback position is so depleted, players like Moore seem good. It's all relative. Moore wasn't even drafted, at one recent point he was a 32nd rated cornerback, lol (that should tell you something).
AMAZING. Thanks for showing all the times you guys were analyzing film and also sharing the calls you made for them. One of my favorite parts of draft season is seeing those calls and these young fellas getting their day and seeing their dream come true. Also love seeing that you guys get so excited to get these guys too. I think the media shares a lot of the "football is a business" angle and not enough about you guys WANTING those guys to be successful too. Cool to see :)
Fascinating to watch as a nfl fan here in N Z. Amazing process. Best part is watching the phone call, and knowing it’s one of the biggest moments in that young man’s life. Emotional stuff.
I have watched all these videos several times, and we need more! These videos make the off-season bareable! I can't ever remember being this excited about football in May. I love Chris & Frank.
This is best look behind the draft curtain ever. As a diehard lifelong fan, please keep this kind of behind the scenes footage coming. Who needs Hard Knocks when the team can do it themselves! Bravo!!!!
As a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a follower of McAfee for a while, I love this video. Puts more pieces together and helps connect more, can't hate on the Colts.
Really enjoyed this clip. They talk about the right character but you can see where that starts from in this war room. Success isn’t far away with these men behind the wheel.
The production team on this is absolutely amazing. So glad they brought in this new guy. Can't remember his name but he is a new hire and he is the driving force behind this series and the new stuff they are coming out with. Hope they keep this draft day stuff up in the future and more behind the scenes stuff.
I'm a 49ers fan and i have a new found respect for the Colts. Very well done. And I knew Ballard (and Dorsey) would be great in their perspective roles for their organizations. Salute.
Even as a Bills fan I could not have been more excited to see the inside of the draft room during the process. I'm rooting for Reich, he was a great player and person with Buffalo and if the Bills don't get the trophy this season I'll be happy to see him and Andrew get it.
Love seeing this process. Ballard might be my favorite GM. I also love his realism: "Every team feels good now. It''s up to the players to play and us to work with them."
Coming from a Patriots fan, Ballard is one of my favorite GMs. Extremely intelligent and the savvy to stand up to Irsay and command the room. And his humor is a plus
If this doesn't get you pumped for the season to start you are dead. I've always said it would be cool to see what goes on in the war room. Awesome they did this. Go Colts. Pat was an animal with his pick.
Frank was pumped up, man! When I saw the preview, I was wondering which player Reich was talking about when he said that the position coach wanted his son to grow up just like "him." Campbell, with TY showing him the ropes, could be so dangerous... The next in the lineage (88-87-13).
why dont more teams release stuff like this? this is what us hardcore fans love to see
The Cardinals and Bills do
Redskins did
For real you know BB and the pats will never do this, so I have to watch the Colts and browns UA-cam lol

You do realize that John Dorsey calls him every year as a prank on him lol they are like brothers actually
Everybody ignores the Browns.
