  • For the very first time, an ambulance has been rigged with cameras that provide a unique perspective on what it's like to respond to emergency calls. 'Inside The Ambulance' follows paramedics from the West Midlands Ambulance Service in England as they take us right into the heart of the action. We see heroism at work in the actions of these first responders. We also enter the lives of people in crisis and learn their unique stories.

You know when you have an illness or your a poorly person with your health, it’s nice to find somebody to fall in love with that truly cares about your health and they stay with you through thick and thin. I had a great guy for 30 years 355 days until he suddenly passed away on our front lawn back in June/21 and he was the love of my life. I’ll never find another one like him.

I had gone out for dinner and had a lemon drop. My dinner arrived and it was done wrong so I just cancelled which was ok. As we were leaving I got a really bad pain in my mid stomach. I went home and it got really bad so my friend took me to ER. After a bit they didn’t know what was going on and put me in an ambulance which was awful. You would think ambulances would have better shocks. Each bump put me in excruciating pain it’s worse than labor pains. When we got to the larger hospital they bumped me getting off ambulance and that is all I remember, this was about 7 pm. I don’t remember anything but hearing my room number. At 10:30 the next morning a Dr ran in and said in a panic I was going to surgery. I do remember the pre op area but the night before was a blur. I had a colon rupture and woke up with a colostomy bag. I was 68 and that was awful. It took 7 months to finally get hooked back up and lose the bag. I am now 72 and much better than that year. It was the worst pain and made me unconscious.

I like watching Real Responders. The kindness and caring attitudes of the British paramedics warm my heart. Why don’t we in the US have gas to ease our pain? There is just more humanity to their approach. In US the ambulances are smaller, but unfortunately I had to take an ambulance twice recently and the medics were very compassionate and I was treated well. Very high quality care.

Ppl don't want to go because the staff are not kind to patients. Period. Like Lisa Edwards, the lady in the states who went to the emerg and they told her to leave and she refused, telling them she was having a stroke. The hospital called the police on her. They came and dragged her on the ground because she couldn't use her left arm or leg..hmm..wonder why! Eventually they manage to drag her into the back seat of a cop car to take her to jail. She dies in the back of that police car..alone and aware she was dying. the cops were laughing at her and making unkind comments about her. She died saying.."I'm having a stroke!" She did! This is why ppl don't want to go! Rest In peace Lisa Edwards

A hospital in Az I went to literally wouldn't bring stretcher or wheelchair to a man having a heart attack. The patients in the waiting room had to get him. I had to leave and go to a different hospital because I was literally dying from dehydration from my gastroparesis flare. They kept saying I had covid. Mind you I'm immunocompromised. The doctors from the hospital I went to said had I waited any longer I'd be dead. My kidneys were shutting down. My urine was full of blood

I got sick a while back and started very strong dry heaves. Around 2 hours later I developed very severe radiation of pain in upper right abdomen where gallbladder was. After many tests and CT, MRI and x-ray finally showed up what was wrong. After 3shotx of morphine and 2 shots of nausea meds my pain scale finally eased off enough to talk to my er Dr. The MRI showed I have torn muscle from my ribcage which caused the severe pain in my stomach that radiates up the shoulder into my neck!
Even compared to 2 births, id rather give birth again. There's no way to fix it without me dying. ( Had gallbladder taken out already)
