he's probably got so many ideas floating around in his head....most of it no one will ever hear. the stuff we do have the privilege to listen to, though, is amazing.

Wow..it is great to see a little bit of how they work in the studio, coming up with those awesome legendary songs!....he just kinda plays around on the piano, thinking and I guess it just comes to him! I wish I had that kind of amazing talent!!

I just realised, watch this video and then watch the video of him playing piano when he was 12.... he looks exactly the same sitting there playing! That's so cute.

Actually, he IS music. Nothing else matters at that very moment. All the things around him seems not to exist anymore. Even the first 20 seconds while he's watching at the window are...wow, there's no word to describe it.

He had clarinet lessons for four years as a kid, but that's it. He went to a piano techer once but they said he had to start from scratch as he had no "technique" and so he never went back. (He's said himself that he plays the piano as if it's a guitar.) Everything else he taught himself.
Starting at 0:33 made me cry.... such brilliant playing...

I think Musers put too much pressure over Matt's shoulders, I mean he is a very gifted man but IMO ppl have idolized him and lost perspective, he is not some kind of Rock God not even a Rockstar the guy is a musician trying to explore new frontiers of his musicianship...my expectations r nule when it comes to Muse because IK they are not the kind of band who plays safe, they're r not the same guys they were 10 years ago, and to me tht's a compliment.
