Every year I look forward to the few days you spend in RI at the high school across the street. Hearing you takes me back to my drum corps days. I aged out in 1973! CONGRATULATIONS to you!
It is so cool that the world champions practiced in our small town!!
I remember that housing site! Sorry about your gym floor lol!
Congrats Spartans!
LETS GO IBBY!!!!
My tech marches for them!!! Congrats!!!
That was early!? I thought they always had semifinals for big loud and live during the 2nd week of August??
This is the 2nd week of August XD

This is for Open Class (so smaller corps). World Class competition starts Thursday, 8/10/2033 w/quarterfinals, which will be shown in theaters starting at 5:30p (Central time).
I couldn’t make it to any competitions this year, but my friend & I have our tickets & we can’t wait!
@@zoomlensshow I guess it did haha, crazy since the last 2 weeks of july
🎶🎺Congrats Spartans!!🎉
Is this #1 for them?
They won in 2019 as well, and before that 2007
Yes they are American champions NOT world champions....although Americans use the word world to make themselves feel more important...what a JOKE.
@@donnyslader9025les stentors competes in open class and they are from canada, thus making it an international sport. there are other groups in other countries too, it is just hard for them to afford to come to finals every year.
@@donnyslader9025 They are actually world champions because it is an international competition. There are corps from countries other than the USA who compete in these events. Les Stentors, Jubal, Beeches, Calgary Stampede, Kidsgrove Scouts, Edmonton Strutters, and the Blue Saints are all corps that have come from places other than the US. So while it is less common for other countries to compete in these events, they do, and therefore it is a world-wide competition.
Of course more corps compete from America, because it's a competition that takes place in America based on old American military traditions. But the competition is always open to corps who are able to make the journey from any country.
its the 7th championship win for them
Congratulations to the Spartans. But watch out...debutants The Columbians (Tri-Cities, WA) and The Battalion (Salt Lake City, UT) finishing 4th and 5th in their first championship competition should give pause for thought going into the 2024 season and championships.
