I am Bruce from Sumter, South Carolina and I'm going to my first Brit Floyd Production on 4-23-20 in Charlotte, North Carolina the day before my Birthday. I have seen his video's and he Has no Equal in Pink Floyd Music. I hate to see that Roger Water's Got one of your 4 best Lead Gutarist's that I have seen. That is really a plus for what caliber of musicians you turn out. I realy Like Damein and his showmanship, vocals and Lead Guitar Playing along with the Super Bass Guitar Player and Front Man's Impersonations for the Songs He is Super Good. The drums and percussion sounds are spot on. The Drummer is Great, the women singers are Great you could ask for no better. The keyboards are Super Mellow and fit right in. I have been a Pink Floyd fan for 55 years and love almost every song they do But I hate to Say this so please don't crucify me other fans. Brit Floyd's Production is honestly Just a tiny bit Better and Precise than The real Pink Floyd Group. So cheers to you and I will stop with That and wait with high anticipation to see them live...……Tickets in hand. Wish me Luck...……..
I agree also. I think it's because they play the songs really close to the originals and today's sound systems are so much better. They also play a wide variety so we get to hear some older stuff played the right way with good sound. The original Floyd refused to play See Emily Play live even when they first released it. Richard Wright said they had some bottles thrown at the them because they wouldn't play it live. The 2021 band has some different members. Not quite as good to me. I still think this group of people is by far the best.
I'm not sure anyone can argue that these guys a just plain incredible. I think it comes down to such finite things that sets them apart. Ian is great but he doesn't have 100% of Waters tone, and Edo is a tremendous guitarist but let's face it, Gilmour is an elite player, and his ability to create notes is second to none, but I'm following your statement, the details are negligible and Brit Floyd is all start quality.
The Final Cut performance is absolutely brilliant.. shockingly dead nuts on point. How he manages to master the vocal tone of Roger W. so closely in that song just blew me away..

Agreed, but I wish Edo would play his Pink solo at the end of the Wall, instead of his own lick. Makes me miss Bobby Harrison. Bobby was a fantastic player. He mimicked Pink note for note, right down to the proper pedals to use.

Seen both 3 times in Liverpool and Brit Floyd absolutely blow Aussie Floyd out into the Mersey..!! 😱 Damian Darlington is a genius, and I think I have the right to judge as I've seen Pink Floyd at Earls Court (Pulse Tour 94) and also Roger Waters last year in Birmingham (Us and Them Tour) July 2018.. 😯😵

In my opinion, the Amsterdam show is the most excellent performance in the history of Brit Floyd. For two hours it is impossible to tear yourself away from the screen. No unnecessary sound! Talented artists do magic! And Olya Bienkowska in the Great Gig in The Sky simply surpassed herself! Bravo, Bravo!
The 2 hr 35 min version from Red Rocks is the best music I've ever heard. After at least 150 time listening it still makes my hair stand & waters up my eyes. No pun intended.

watched Brit Floyd concert in Lisbon two days ago, brilliant. Love the extra music tweets added, also for the first time in many years I felt the music vibrate in my body, don't know if it was because the Altice Area in lisbon is smaller than the O2 area but well done sound system guys. Damion Darlington, Ido Scardo and all the rest of the band you are the living playing embodiment of Pink Floyd. well done.
I just watched these guys a week ago in Ventura in the VIP section. I can't even put into words how much that show meant to me! They ARE PINK FLOYD REINCARNATE!! It took every ounce of my being to not break down in tears. Pink Floyd is my all-time favorite band, and these AMAZING musicians performed the best concert ive EVER seen! Me and my buddy got to meet the whole band prior to the show. It was a cathartic experience that i'll never forget for the rest of my life.
We are going next year,London Palladium,England my only hope is these talented guys and gals include "ECHOES" from the album "MEDDLE" .That really would be the ising on the cake,their version is so Hypnotic and Brilliant.
I too absolutely love watching Brit Floyd concerts and would kill for the opportunity to see them live but with that said lets keep in mind that without the brilliant minds of the members of Pink Floyd who wrote all these songs we would all be searching elsewhere and never really finding music as stimulating as ALL the originals that those very gifted individuals wrote and performed for us. There lies the real genius. The vision to write such great music ! As cover/tribute bands go Brit Floyd is tops on my list ! Almost as good as the original ! Almost !
Saw them in Dallas ( Irving ). 60$ great seats. Awesome concert. The bass players vocals were perfection. Didnt think anyone could pull off Roger's vocals. I was wrong.
@@montemccarty6512 Ian Cattel does both Roger and David extremely well. That's not easy to do. I think he is brilliant on Final Cut and he nails David on every song. Thank God they are around as our old originals guys are getting up in age or already passed. RIP Rick and Sid.....

I agree. It's almost like having Pink Floyd playing but with today's technology and sound. They play it the way its supposed to be played. We are lucky to have them.

watched Brit Floyd concert in Lisbon two days ago, brilliant. Love the extra music tweets added, also for the first time in many years I felt the music vibrate in my body, don't know if it was because the Altice Area in lisbon is smaller than the O2 area but well done sound system guys. Damion Darlington, Ido Scardo and all the rest of the band you are the living playing embodiment of Pink Floyd. well done.

I just watched these guys a week ago in Ventura in the VIP section. I can't even put into words how much that show meant to me! They ARE PINK FLOYD REINCARNATE!! It took every ounce of my being to not break down in tears. Pink Floyd is my all-time favorite band, and these AMAZING musicians performed the best concert ive EVER seen! Me and my buddy got to meet the whole band prior to the show. It was a cathartic experience that i'll never forget for the rest of my life.

We are going next year,London Palladium,England my only hope is these talented guys and gals include "ECHOES" from the album "MEDDLE" .That really would be the ising on the cake,their version is so Hypnotic and Brilliant.

I would have to give you that point, but after going to this concert, I no longer regretted missing out on seeing Pink Floyd in concert.
I was fortunate to see Floyd live but have to say although they have the edge these guys are very very close.

I too absolutely love watching Brit Floyd concerts and would kill for the opportunity to see them live but with that said lets keep in mind that without the brilliant minds of the members of Pink Floyd who wrote all these songs we would all be searching elsewhere and never really finding music as stimulating as ALL the originals that those very gifted individuals wrote and performed for us. There lies the real genius. The vision to write such great music ! As cover/tribute bands go Brit Floyd is tops on my list ! Almost as good as the original ! Almost !

Saw them in Dallas ( Irving ). 60$ great seats. Awesome concert. The bass players vocals were perfection. Didnt think anyone could pull off Roger's vocals. I was wrong.
@@montemccarty6512 Ian Cattel does both Roger and David extremely well. That's not easy to do. I think he is brilliant on Final Cut and he nails David on every song. Thank God they are around as our old originals guys are getting up in age or already passed. RIP Rick and Sid.....

I agree. It's almost like having Pink Floyd playing but with today's technology and sound. They play it the way its supposed to be played. We are lucky to have them.
