Brother...you could sell a broomstick. You are an amazing wizard on a guitar. That is an amazing guitar. One of the worst days i have had in a long time, you made it better. I would give anything for a Tele of that quality, disabled vet that had to sell my gear to feed my son because of a divorce. Still have something, rising up again. Keep doing you, you guys are awesome.
That bridge pickup sequence was awesome; it made me grin because I was thinking this is how an electric guitar shines, distorted AF and feeding back but still rhythmically musical.
And on a side note ... Goodness gracious ... can all Telecaster's rock like this little guy ... I mean, while in the hands of Michael Lemmo? Amazing, beautiful noises coming out of this '73 beauty ... and I'm listening on my danged phone ... can't believe it ... WOW!
A nod to the Edge and U2. I am amazed you can get away with the Hendrix tribute. My favorite Telecaster gods are Roy Buchanan, Danny Gatton, and Scotty Anderson.
Sounds great! And it’s got the correct body shape too. Somewhere around 1973-‘74, Teles started showing up with bodies that were routed on a worn-out template, with a shallower curve on the bass-side upper bout. Those just don’t look right, but this one’s fine. So was the sunburst one I had in 1974.
Virtually identical to my first guitar, I still miss it. A roasted ash 52 reissue ash entered my life to fill the gap. In someways it better but no replacement
Watching this show now, and seeing the comments reminds me of the story The Emperor Has No Clothes. I can’t possibly be the only one who wonders why everything interesting and fun about this show has been replaced by the word “cool”. You had a great thing going, and you scuttled it.
Oh yeah... Reminds me of when I saw Roy Buchanan play Hey Joe live. With that and a cover of Neil Young's Down By The River it was a spiritual twang thang.
Do you know what this 70’s Tele tone is also good for? Some David Bowie “Golden Years” tone.... These Tele’s have a bit of ice pick though/but spank! ML, I have one like this for you! 1/2 off Norm’s price! 😀 But I wouldn’t step on Norm’s toes! 👴 Norm has been good to me! You convinced me to get a Burns Double Six like Elvis played from Norm about 4 years or so ago. Awesome wide string spaced neck! I thought you worked there but at that time, you were just hanging out, helping.... You helped me a lot! Thank you ML! I also got that killer McGuire 52 Blonde Tele with the Fender sticker on it. Everybody was eying and playing that one! The one that Tim P played on Guitar of the Day. That one is mighty killer!!! My favorite out of about 10+ Tele’s. I also got that McGuire “Clapton Blackie” Strat Clone. Tom Petty bought one on the spot, the 1st one of 2 brought in at the same time to Norm’s by Mike McGuire. Those two are twin sisters. Norm has been very good to me! Thank you Norm!!! My 70’s Olympic White is clean and so nice with original black case. The neck serial number is earlier than the factory unsoldered pots though. Pretty common discrepancy. Super clean aged Olympic White. I should bring it down for a trade... I’m not crazy about the small frets and small neck... -George (Santa Barbara)
Super difficult to hear what this guitar sounds like with that annoying delay and loop pedal. Would be nice to have a clean county or jazz picker demo this so we could hear what it sounds like with a grown up player.
Lemmo, that tone is majestic and your playing is extraordinary.
pro tip : you can watch series at Flixzone. Been using them for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Christopher Emanuel yea, I've been using flixzone for since december myself :)
Love the Hey Joe style middle position riff.
..any chance we can see Lemmo’s pedalboard? just an incredible player.
I would pay good money to see Lemmo play live with just him and his looper. 🙌🏽🔥🎸

lemmos hendrix jams are always a true treat. thanks, michael
"It's blonde with a maple neck..." says it all! Just sit back and give a listen to Mr. Lemmo show you why the blonde Telecaster is a thing of beauty!
Such a pleasure to listen to a real musician..
That bridge pickup sequence was awesome; it made me grin because I was thinking this is how an electric guitar shines, distorted AF and feeding back but still rhythmically musical.

One of the best guitar of the day vids I’ve seen. So cool... I would love to own at least one 1973 Fender one day. Same year I arrived on earth. 👍
All together now ... AWESOME!
Lemmo you rip man! Such a sweet guitar!
Jimi's opening to 'Hey Joe' is the best guitar opening / intro in rock history, IMO.
It’s not even the best version of ‘Hey Joe’ that accolade goes to Love
@@lustycourtier2425 LOL, no.
Holy Smokes!
Lemmo, how awesome is that....what a wonderdul start of my day. Keep them coming!
That was a rippin' Tele Tuesday!
Damn! Approaching 500K! That's Awesome! Norm's Rocks!!!!!!!
made that bridge pickup sing. bravo.
Finished on such a high note 👏🏽 👏🏽 🎸 🤘🏽 💥
Lemmo is da man! On the guitar.
A nod to the Edge and U2. I am amazed you can get away with the Hendrix tribute. My favorite Telecaster gods are Roy Buchanan, Danny Gatton, and Scotty Anderson.
Otherworldly Michael .. 9.06 onwards was extraordinary 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳
Great job Lemmo! That was awesome. Really cool Tele👍👏
Working that feedback with that howling overtone sets the day's tone. Thanks man
Watch yo soul boy! Evil lurks! Love you .
amazing playing, once again!
Reminds me of Roy B's version of hey Joe. Maybe next Tuesday a little the Messiah will come again?
The question everyone is asking... WTF is that amp and pedal, Wow! What a deep, clear verb combo!!! Epic tone, SOLD
Jimi smiles. You savage Lemmo. Not live at Winterland, Live @Norman's.
Wow beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Beautiful! 🙌🏼

Wow!! Impressive tones!! Play on!!!!
Killer on the Hey Joe riff!!!!
Yeah very good vibes, ty!!!
It's perfect !!
Great tones out of that Blondie!
Its rare to hear such good use of delay 👏 Mr Lemmo and Jen make a great team
So sweet!
First guitar I ever wanted! Thar year and all.
Amazing man, loved the first loop just such a versatile guitar and, of course, what a player👏🏼
Look at those STUFFED RACKS!!! AWESOME!!!
Sweet axe Lemmo!
Love Tele Tuesday. Nice one there.
That was great!
Virtually identical to my first guitar, I still miss it. A roasted ash 52 reissue ash entered my life to fill the gap. In someways it better but no replacement
Nothing like a blonde guitar to begin an epic week of guitars! Awesome playing too! However! Gotta do a Maton!
Dreamy
Very nice Job Michael, did you play any new Guitars that came in Today?
@Normans Rare Guitars actually my gf came into the room and we spontaneously slow danced to your Jimmy interpretation :P
Terribly cool demo.
Loved that first section, on the neck p'up. Was that original?
And Hendrix on a Tele. Why not?
Way avoid guitar tone cliches. 👍
9:07 Sounding a little Roy Buchannonesque!
A major upgrade of what you had
Needed a double thumbs up button!
I love the off white maple neck fender guitars. Too bad I'm a lefty, it's hard to find them.
I'm a southpaw as well..the difficulty finding vintage left-handed guitars is criminal.
73 was a great tone

I dig it. 👍
Lemmo, I watch everyday and PLEASE learn a couple twangy Tele songs for Tuesday???? Some of us like that twangy Tele bridge sound!
Dat boy got the devil in 'im!
What does something like that run Mike? I'm in the MKT. Luvin the shirt man
Super!
Reaaaaaaalllllyyyyy cooooooolllllll Guitaaaarrrrrrr"😂

Like your channel. ❤ L A.
Good Jam! can I have it?
And it’s a blond......and scare the Bear!! 9:44
That was a riper ,on fire, etc.
One Tele is enough... said no guitarist ever.
Love these videos and Norm's Rare Guitars but getting interrupted 3 times by ads is getting old.
I've never had an ad watching these videos, weird.
UA-cam premium solves that - £2 per month
Anyone know what pedals lemmos using? Thanks!
Just a standard looper probably a ditto, it’s his timing that makes it sound so clean
Цой- спокойная ночь

Lemmo Lemmo Lemmo

Has John 5 snapped it up yet?
hi
You have to be in huge demand very very soon young Lemmo.. your playing is not of this world
Holy.... Shi.......t
The bedroom fender aficionados who swear all 70s fenders are rubbish are crying right now 😜

Another tele gets its ass kicked by king lemmo...
Jimi would -Totally- have used a looper. Fight me.
