i’m really happy y’all are doing this and i can’t wait for it to blow up. this is a level of rawness that i have NEVER seen from celeb status and i think it’s a really important thing to witness.
He made a great and very wise decision to settle down with a down to earth nurse from outside the industry. Very lucky guy and single me is happy but jealous for them lol.
Same, from unplanned. I just want to point out, Mr. Taylor, that a man who changes diapers is extra sexy. Like John Legend and Adam Levine. There's commercials about that. Like anything, practice makes perfect, and when you convey that support for your kids with everything, playing and diapers and bathing and crying, the bond is so much stronger. I'm not saying you have to do everything, but sharing the load is a life saver.
I work in a hospital setting as well, and so finally having a podcast where someone is open and honest with the feelings and emotions that come with that is so relieving. I’m looking forward to more content (and hopefully merch soon)! Your story from ICU had me in tears because I work all over the hospital including ICU so I see these situations happen often and it definitely changes something in you physically and mentally that just isn’t discussed about enough. I’m eager to have this new outlet. Thank you both for working together on this amazing new podcast!
I am so glad I found this podcast I’ve worked as a Nurses Aide for 5 years and worked through Covid. Man do I relate to this podcast! I’m currently in nursing school also and my mental health is down the drain at the moment. Thank you for sharing!
First time watching this and no words….. glad I found it. And glad they found each other. She is a sweet person and he is amazing, they are so kind with each other. She is so comfortable in front of the front of the camera, good for her, her husband is may be partly helping her with that which is awesome. 💗💗💗
I was a gen med nurse who’s unit converted to the covid floor when the pandemic hit, so much of what you talked about hit home. Thank you for talking about it!
I found your podcast through Matt and Abby a few days ago and I’m obsessed ❤ I watched 3 episodes and I’m already in love with both of you and your relationship ❤
I just found your podcast. I’m absolutely loving how real and down to earth you both are. It’s nice to hear a podcast with so much positivity and love. Thank you!
Wow! Tay, you are beautiful person. Thank you for opening up and showcasing such an important and powerful topic. We appreciate you both. Keep it up! 👏🙏💕
I graduated as an RN in December of 2020 and took my NCLEX in March of 2021. But was already working as a new grad LVN in a telemetry unit at my local hospital before transitioning to the RN role in the same unit after I passed my RN NCLEX exam in March 2021. So I went through all the same things Tay's talking about, including working the night shift. It was brutal to say the least and so painful seeing so many people die. I now work at an outpatient center and it has been a good change and has helped my mental health. Thank you Taylor for being there for your wife and being that support system she needed. My husband cheated on me with another woman while I was in nursing school and I ended up going through the struggle of nursing school and working as a new nurse by myself without anyones support. Thankfully I am a very strong person and I pushed through the pain and hurt and graduated with excellent grades. When life gives you lemons, what do you do with them? You make lemonade I guess LOL!
Tay we have such similar stories! My high school best friend that met when I joined the cheer team my freshman year in 2009 also had bipolar disorder and I didn’t know she had bipolar disorder until the year after I graduated in 2013 she was so full of life and everyone loved her! She was a Nebraska husker cheerleader and took her own life by diving off a parking garage in 2015 and it was devastating 💔 wish I could hug you!
Listening to you guys talk about your history in mental health/medical work was so touching. And listening to how sweet and supportive you two are of each other was heartwarming. I'm not typically a podcast-listening kind of person but I really enjoyed The Squeeze and plan on listening to more episodes!!
I LOVE YOU BOTH! Truly a great admirer of Taylor Lautner since forever, and now an even greater fan of Taylor D. Lautner. I love this podcast :D lots of love and best wishes!! - Love, From India.
I have ALWAYS had so much respect for nurses, especially since I am a patient so often in hospitals but especially starting in 2020, my respect skyrocketed!! I was hospitalized like 2-3 times in 2020 and I felt SOOOO bad for my nurse having to wear masks all day. I'd tell em "hey while you're in here, I dont mind you taking that off. I've been tested. I'm not scared, I just want you to have a moment of comfort!" Of course, no one DID that. lol I love that I found this podcast. :)
Tay, your whole idea is fire! 🙌🙌🙌 You two are changing people's lives! Thank you! I am 52 years old, bi-polar, and a single mom of a 29 year old who is on the Spectrum. I had to perform CPR on my mother, who was the first person I had to actually do compressions on, as she was dying from COVID... I know that trauma you felt doing compressions, training dummies definitely do NOT prepare you for the real thing! I saw "The Squeeze" as a clip from E! on their piece about Taylor talking to Instagram about the trolls he was up against and was praying it was a podcast on UA-cam. I TRULY feel like it is an answer from God. I was only going to bring positive vibes to Mr. Lautner, but to my surprise, Mrs. Lautner, you are a blessing as well! 💞 I instantly subscribed and am sharing your content with everyone I know. Thank you for being so raw and keeping it real! There is going to be a lot of healing! God bless you both 🙏💞 🙌
If life gives you lemons, we have three tools from the closet of the soul: values, principles and faith... Lovely that touch they add to the development of situations... It says much more than what is seen at first glance.
I’m so happy I found your podcast. 🙏🏼 as a teacher for the past 6 years, I also didn’t have serious mental health issues until I started my career. The trauma students brought with them to school, the negativity, the pressure, the horrible ways that I felt on a daily basis led to anxiety showing up as chest pains. It’s been a journey for the past 5 years discovering what that means and how to manage my anxiety now. Thank you for all you’re sharing and this conversation. It helps me to not feel alone. Thank you
I went to EMT school in March 2020. EMT by September 2020. I understand that kind of relationship with regards to the stresses that occur from time to time. Nice to see you are still together as many relationships are unable to endure that SORT of hardship. Then, "indents on the face" - epic. One of the downsides of staying safe before our bodies adjusted to the virus and other pathogens present in the field. What the podcast is accomplishing is deep and relatable... keep up the great work
Thank you for creating this podcast. Im in nursing school too and mental health has become such an important passion of mine too. This was so inspiring 😭❤️
Just listened to the Lindsey episode on my breaks on a cancer treatment ward. And let me just say. Tay and tay. As a famous teen star and for the rest of us a ”normal” living life person. The way you relate, connect, dare to share, and show openness and thoughts about LIFE that is not easily diagnosed by an x-ray or broken bone. It matters. It has meaning and is important that you as ppl with two different perspectives and day to day lives. Actually TALK about it. It gives understanding, education, perspective. That matters. Keep going. You deserve success and rewards for it. Because it matters.
I just heard this podcast today for the first time. I've randomly seen you on NV's or KB's podcasts but I didn't ever listen to the whole shows. Tonight I started listening to the Hannah Brown episode and then started back at the beginning. I literally LOVE this concept and this podcast. As a mental health clinician, I would like to THANK YOU for your honesty, vulnerability, and empathy!! You are actively changing the world!! I would love to speak with you both on your show!
Hello Tay! Just wanted to say I appreciate your guys‘s podcast being 25 myself and struggling with my feelings. Loved both episodes, unpaciently waiting for others!! Lots of love
I also struggle with my anxiety, overthinking and so many more which I really don't like. I am a huge fan here 😊😍 and seeing you guys makes me happy. Btw, I'm a team Jacob 😍😁.
I can relate so much to you girl Tay. I am a pusher downer on my emtions and I feel like that came from a place where my family was always on go-go mode too. Also, I have done things in my life that I never planned on doing. I gradeuted during lockdowned with a degree in Media Commincation, and now I am back after taking a year off of school to get my Bachlors degree in Digitial Communcations. Over COVID lockdown in Canada (I am from Cananad.) I was taking care of a family friend of mine who was in a home due to health reasons. I had to help take care of her because my mom was her primary and she was out of town helping my grandmother move in with us. I also do PSW work for my brother ( he as austim) and my grandma because she can't really do much anymore. She is now 91 and has momery loss. I also thinking a lot about ideas before I go to sleep too. I know that this podcast has been out for a while and I know boy Taylor story and little better cause you he is more well known in the public eye, but I just wanted to say to both of you guys thank you for being open and honest about your jounries because it makes people feel less alone and knowing that we can relate to you guys in your jounries is amazing.
So thoroughly enjoyed this debut episode & blown away by how evidently your hearts show through the way you speak about those you love and the topics you care so deeply about. I'm excited about this project and can't wait to get to know you both better. Thank you for doing this! 💛

First of all, I really loved that Podcast! Congratulations! An important topic nowadays, but I loved the subjects. And Taylor, as your fan for many years: I´m so proud of you! Keep going! Much love from Brazil!
I WANT TO THANK YOU MRS. TL FOR YOUR SERVICE!!! I LOST 4 RELATIVES IN 2020-2023 TO C-19 AND IT WAS A TERRIFYING AND MOST DIFFICULT TIME OF OUR LIVES… MANY R STILL HEALING & GRIEVING❤️🩹…
Taylors! Fellow SCV native here. When you want to level up your mafia game, I have a version that will blow your mind! I've hosted a mafia New Years Eve party for 15 years. Your life will never be the same, and that's an absolute promise. Long live game night!
Alright guys! Just subbed and I’m starting my first video. Then going through all the rest to catch up. Love you both so much! Taylor made up my childhood, the twilight movies were mainstream when I was a teen and before that when I was a few years younger I saw twilight and loved the movie. So I got to see it be a weird new teen film to this hugeeeee blow out saga. No one else in my opinion should’ve been Jacob, you killed the role. My earliest memory of a movie i rewatched a hundred times and rehearsed the words was shark boy and lava girl. I was excited when Tracers and Abduction came out. You just mean so much to me, I’m so glad you made this podcast so we can be part of your world still as grown adults.
I post on social media even if I *am* having a bad time -- I'd rather be transparent and open and have support from others (and be an outlet for others to feel comfortable coming to) -- but everyone is different :) I struggle w/ anxiety, depression & PTSD; sometimes social media is therapeutic for me, believe it or not! But there can be negative things associated with it, too, don't get me wrong. You guys are awesome! I am enjoying listening to far :)
Thank you guys for sharing your personal experiences ❤ Tay you’re such a strong and loving human being ❤ this is so difficult but important to take care of ourselves before anything. Just knowing why I’m feeling that or that way and accept it. I’m also someone who pushes back everything and I know it’s not the good thing to do but it’s been too long and I just can’t do other ways. So thank you for this first episode, I’m so excited for the next episodes 😊 much love to you both from a big fan of you from France 🇫🇷❤
My favorite number is also 11! So, I love the idea of the Lemon11!! 🤗 Personally, I consider Fight Song my anthem for mental health. I struggle with PTSD and that song always puts me the right mindset to keep pushing forward. Bloom is a great song though! Good friends of ours got married to that song! 😘
@theSqueeze thanks for all the work you all do. Taylor, if possible, it would be cool if you both could chat with Dakota Fanning, one of your twilight costars, and and ask her about her experiences as a child star and how she was able to maintain her sanity and make the transition to who she is today.
I just started watching so I closed the recent video and I’m starting from the beginning. What I wanna say is that Taylor is a very supportive and phenomenal husband. Tay herself is such a strong individual and I love that you two blend together so well. You guys are amazing and I hope the podcast grows to your hopes and even more with all my heart. Ily guys ❤️
This is the kind of relationship we all hope for: supportive, sweet, and honest. You are a great match for each other.
Taylor crying and boy Tay just saying “I love you…” melts my heart. YOUUU GUYSSS 😭
So cute 😍
i’m really happy y’all are doing this and i can’t wait for it to blow up. this is a level of rawness that i have NEVER seen from celeb status and i think it’s a really important thing to witness.
He made a great and very wise decision to settle down with a down to earth nurse from outside the industry. Very lucky guy and single me is happy but jealous for them lol.
Just discovered this podcast via Matt and Abby. I really appreciate you talking about mental health and I already know I'll be an avid listener!

Give this women singing lesson❤
I CAN TELL TAY HAS A SENSITIVE PERSONALITY WHICH IS GOOD. SO COMFORTING LISTENING TO HER.

It's important to normalize talking about mental health. Thank you both ❤️👌
I was a gen med nurse who’s unit converted to the covid floor when the pandemic hit, so much of what you talked about hit home. Thank you for talking about it!
As a new grad nurse, Tays story hits close to home. Thank you guys for sharing.
Seems like she’s not used to the camera but he is. He’s not nervous at all. I enjoyed this podcast a lot.
Absolutely love the authenticity you both share! Instant subscriber and can’t wait to be along this podcast journey 😊

@theSqueeze thanks for all the work you all do.
