Hey Tyler, our first stop this weekend is Mt Werong Camp and we’ll be getting there in the dark. Would you recommend taking that Middle Werong FT (first one in this vid) from the west to east in the dark? Or u think we should go around until daylight? All 4x4’s with low range in the group. Cheers.
Hey mate, this was a couple of years ago I did that trip so could have changed since then. But the fire trail was pretty straight forward when we did it, fine for any 4wd with low range and wouldn't have been an issue in the dark. Enjoy!
Hi Tyler, Great content, I've really enjoyed watching. Fantastic your sharing the experience with your son. I have 2017 Subaru Outback (Stock) would the road / trails out to Cox's river campsite be suitable for an AWD? I would like to take my kids out there as well.
Hey mate, thank you! I haven't been there in a few years so hard to say, if you stick to the main one it would probably be okay but wouldn't be exploring the side tracks
Hey thanks for the upload. I'm planning a 10 night trip from Brisbane to Blue mountains and want to camp in 3 locations within the blue mountains over 6 nights. I have put down Newnes campground as a must do but have you got two favorite spots you think i must see whilst down that way?
Hey, Newnes is good. I would definitely recommend Dunn Swamp, its a great camp spot! All the camping in the Abercrombie River National Park and Kanangra Boyd National Park is good as well. Plenty of good spots in the area wherever you go
Thanks Tyler, i have seen some awesome shots of Kanangra Boyd National Park so i'll add that to the list and check out Dunn Swamp, appreciate the advice.
Great vids mate. Much respect for making time to get away from the the grind with the family! Truly unforgettable experience.
Thanks mate!
Great Tyler! My property is south of the Park, near the Bolong and Burra Burra. Very familiar country, thanks for a great video.
Thanks mate, awesome spot out there!

No worries, enjoy your trip!
Do you think this area would be possible in a 2wd navara with a rear locker?
Probably not, its pretty steep out there
just wondering what drone were you using?
DJI mavic pro in this video
Thought so... :)
