Dal has a very strong connection with Halifax’s and basically all Maritimes companies. But few chances here. You better go to Toronto find a job after here and it can be difficult for dal grad because there’re lots of Ontario schools

I applied since November/2018 to TWO departments at Dalhousie University and now were in April/2019 and still no reply from either one whether accepted or not even though i emailed them severel times..with 7 y work experience, a master degree of 80.88 and IELTS 7.5..you can atleast reply back to those who spent weeks to gather and mail their applications!!! What a waist of time and money

Dalhousie is surely better than SMU. But there’s nothing to be proud of it. Because better than the worst simply equals average. As I said, the real universities in Canada are only top 3 plus Waterloo
