Just recently felt a desire to read more into Islam, and subhanallah it is more of a beautiful religion than I have ever noticed before.
I just pray for the mercy of Allah for I have sinned and lied before and am now seeking repentance by researching more by first reading the Quranic translations and researching into the prophets
And just as I have decided this, this series was produced not too long ago subhanallah.

I am from western society. I said the shahada years ago but do not mean it. I am now learning more and more. In the hopes that I get full understanding and I say the shahada with meaning. With the knowledge, agreement, and intent. However, I am not going to lie, at this point of where I am it does not seem that it will be possible for me. I am struck by emotion every time I hear prayers and stories. Or watch videos of others reverting, and it feels like my souls knows and wants to come forward but I feel blocked. I loved listening to this. I will listen to more each day. Thank you for making these.
I would recommend you to read Qur'an translation watch debate videos from one message foundation and other dawah groups to clear your doughts you can even message them watch zaid Patel series on why Islam is true religion
Don't think that you have sinned a lot and you have no chance . We all are sinners but the best one are those who repent . Allah is way more merciful then we think
Think good about Allah and do good actions make lot of dua in privacy for guidance
And do take shahadah In shaa Allah we will meet in Jannah
If your sins were to reach the clouds Allah will forgive if you make sincere repentance
Don't get caught my Shaitan trick that you won't be able to do it , you are a very big sinner , there is no chance etc
Trust in Allah and make sincere dus to become a righteous person who follows Islam on the way of salaf(our predecessors) and try to change your circle, meet good righteous people there
@@mohdammar7175 thank you. I am reading more and more. I am purchasing a hijab so I can go to the mosque with friends and hear the prayer and learn more on how to make dua. I shall watch the suggested videos. Honestly thank you so much for your comments. I am finding more and more as I go, I went to a the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque in Cyprus yesterday. It was so beautiful and peaceful. I did not go in but I was moved by it just like I am by prayers even though I don’t understand them. So, I am hopeful.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A person who acquires (religious) knowledge, which is (normally) acquired to gain the Pleasure of Allah, (for the sole reason) to secure worldly comforts will not even smell the fragrance of Jannah on the Day of Resurrection (i.e., will not enter Jannah)."
