Magnificent rendering of this Masterpiece...if you think that Beethoven was "not hearing", is umbelievable how he can compose this Simphony...He really speaks to the entire Humankind...
I remember listening to this symphony live. The fourth movement sounded so much like a thunderstorm... Such an amazing interpretation of the thunder it was astounding
what a masterpiece... in the 5th movement i can actually see the storm clearing up, the water droplets dripping down the trees and the birds coming out to sing.. truly the best music ever...
The melody and orchestration starting at 13:27 is among the most beautiful music I have ever heard. Thanks for the upload. Also... In my opinion the tempo is not too slow, it is just right.
I love the horns in the 5th movement, one of my favorite uses of horns. In 9:36 it just....the way that the movement starts to pick up but the horns slow it down again and you feel so blissed out. It's like you're ready to go have fun but then you kind of stop yourself before you go off and you're like man I gotta enjoy this...this is important....Idk it's such a nice sound, I've never heard horns used in that way.
This reminds me of a transition through time. 3rd movement: Everyone is active during the afternoon. 4th movement: It becomes nighttime. The moon cannot be seen. The stars cannot be seen as well. There are way too much clouds. It's a storm. Everyone panics and goes into their homes. Many plants were destroyed. It was intense. Like, can you imagine that? No. But this is kinda similar to the sonnet that Beethoven assigned to this movement. Too much stormy clouds. Some houses were struck by lightning. You cannot imagine how bad that would be. Now people would be scared to think of this. But if not, then continue on. It was an intense storm that lasted an entire night. Then eventually it cools down. Then back again. Then cools down. I can't tell you how much times it took. Then it stops before the morning. That's a relief. 5th movement: The sun comes up and it becomes morning. Everyone wakes up.
Though I prefer 3rd movement came from Austrian folk dance melody more, however, 5th movement also makes me thrill. At 10:31 the violin and cello are talking each other like "My sound is better", "No, mine is better." But what came next is the complete harmony between the violin and cello at 10:53. Harmony, is the nature of pastoral.
6th 3rd always makes me think of nature and especially shrubs with flowers on either side of a path and a lot of other interesting stuff too during certain parts of it
The Bezdin Ensemble is good!!! And a new Malinowsky Beethoven symphony graphical score. Thank you sir! (a gen y I know does good computer music, I showed him the gs, said he uses it. I showed him who owns it. Hats off. Once again. And again.
La commedia è finita? Don`t think so. For me and I suppose a lot of us, its the graphical score that is paramount. You want Karajan or Nagano, get it on cd or flac, better yet Deutch Grammophone 9 vynil set! I also meant that gen y uses what you invented. And have no clue who is behind it. I showed a few what YOU own and is duplicated. Having a kid tell me I use this all the time and do not care who squared it, annoys me. You get flack for using obscure ensembles and yet your graphic software is pirated. Ah wwtvr. Thanks for all your continued works and efforts. Hats off again.
smalin I know! A band wants to play Zappa in a bar, has to pay his widow`s trust. So they do not. Its absurd. This blocks the spreading of art. Everybody loses. Did anyone think you, doing a piece, is actually an add that promotes? Noooo... You are a courageous music scholar Prof. Malinowsky.
Beethoven wrote this in 1808, and the German folk song (that the melody for "Where O Where Has My Little Dog Gone" came from) was written in 1827. So there might be a connection ... you might want to do some research ...
smalin I’m a Magic fan, a Rays fan, a Seahawks fan, and a Lightning fan. I’ve listened to this song since Baby Beethoven, and I found a sport to associate it with; basketball, because of the rhythm of this song and pieces that give the feel of playing basketball.
+smalin sorry I don't know really much about this movement it's for school 😅 and they ask me who are the persons who made this can you please say me? I can't find anything on Internet 😕
+Maximilien De Cannière I'm sorry, if you want to know more about the performers, I can't help you. The recording was pirated, it turns out, and the "Bezdin Ensemble" does not exist. To find who the performers were, you would need to listen to other recordings of this piece, and see who it was stolen from.
Rhombus: String instruments
Violet star: Oboe
Violet ellipse: Flute
Golden rectangle: French horn

9:29 Fifth Movement. So calm, so... refreshing.
And for the others:
Third movement: the video starts with it (obviously)
Fourth movement: 5:46
I remember listening to this symphony live. The fourth movement sounded so much like a thunderstorm... Such an amazing interpretation of the thunder it was astounding
The 4th movement reminds me of the 3rd chapter of "Surf and turf" from Angry birds.
The 5th movement is my favorite.
Mine also!
Galileo Sun!
STILL ABSOLUTELY SLAPS WHAT A BANGER.

The 5th movement is the best one.
@@needleboy17 But the other 4 movements build the context that makes it so special. :-)

Fantasia always pops into my head with this Symphony.
So does a dancing giraffe in a tux.
Stephen---this is one of your best! Well done! And thank you so much!!

9:11 has one of the most beautiful symphonic transitions ever. Only BEETHOVEN.
Oh my god what is that music of the spirit come from the heaven
Superb! Playing this twice in a row. Thank you, Mr. M.!!!

jfcc9086 Actually, it turns out that the Spire/Bezdin recordings are pirated. See: whoisadinaspire.wordpress.com/

jfcc9086 I would like to use the best recordings, but licenses to use Karajan, Nagano, etc. are very expensive (if they are available at all).

I was very curious to visualize the storm. Now I can hear it with turning the volume off.
this is so beautiful.
tel un bouquet aux multiples splendeurs, admiration profonde
That 4th movement man... Incredible.
And the 5th!
The theme starting at 1:03 sounds like the famous children's song (of which this theme was "borrowed") "where o where has my little dog gone"
Beethoven wrote this in 1808, and the German folk song (that the melody for "Where O Where Has My Little Dog Gone" came from) was written in 1827. So there might be a connection ... you might want to do some research ...
I should have been more clear; I meant the folk song borrowed from Beethoven's theme, not the reverse.
We don't know whether the German folk song was borrowed from Beethoven or was composed independently a generation later. (That is, I don't know.)
~Pulls up next to you at the light stop in my 1910 Ford Model T Touring blasting my favorite Beethoven track~
Maybe this would be pretentious
So beautiful
Great sound, even on my basic speakers. Thanks for posting this.
I love this . Thank you for sharing
8:15 has to be the most epic part of the whole symphony
for me is that crescendo at 16:50... what a grand finale!
Beethoven un hombre lúcido y genial....
0:04 Baby Beethoven
9:28 Baby Galileo (Sun)
Very nice, thank you
That moment at 6:47 where you see a sailboat passing by :-) hehe

These three movements. Not only the 3rd or 5th
Ahhhhhhhh. Nice. smalin
16:55 - 18:51
YES! Such a powerful apex followed by a beautiful deccendo! It hits hard on our soul
smalin is da best

When I listen to the 3rd movement, I think of NBA basketball.
You must have a strong connection with sports.

Can you please say me who are all the persons who made this: the pianist and more this would be sooo helpful thanks a lot 😊😀
+Maximilien De Cannière Why do you think there is a pianist?
