This was a highly requested video reaction to NXDE by (G)-IDLE, and I loved it!

Always makes me laugh how the women reactors I watch immediately understand the meaning of the song / mv while men reactors just talk about how hot the girls are or make jokes such as saying they want Soyeon to turn around when she takes her shirt off... Kinda proves the point the girls are making here haha

Love that you got their message pretty much straight away. Also I am a bit bummed about the MV's translation. It is really not great but the biggest example is the ending cause even though 'you have a dirty mind' sounds good it is just not the same as the actual translation which is 'The pervert is YOU!' To me that has more impact :P
There were comments about the song being about the word 'nude' itself. For example, people immediately expect something naughty/dirty, but it can also mean being your true self, showing the "naked truth", etc. The drawing is a direct reference to a drawing that had a built in shredder in the frame and was shredded after being sold. If you want a deep dive, I recommend watching one of the explanation videos ☝
Gidle always brings out some interesting concepts with a strong message. Soyeon writing producing and arranging most of the songs shows why she's such a force in kpop...elite level talent. A burlesque/roaring twenties visual aesthetic, so unexpected but not surprising. Just a banger...

I’ve heard from someone that Soyeon said that they titled it “nude” because of all perverts in Korea that search for nudes of kids/teenagers etc. so now when they search for it in Hangul. Gidle and their the song will pop up instead.
Also, search for the reason and messages and reasons behind the song on google and read the articles. This song and Gidle themselves are definitely the most important group and song in kpop 2022.
And overall Gidle always have important messages behind their songs. I really hope they become at blackpink, twice and SNSD (girls' generation) level of popularity in S.Korea. It would definitely change S.Korea in a really really good way. (also really hope they reach their kind of popularity all over the world, cuz that would change so many people in a good way)

OH MY GOODNESS YES YES YES!!! First of all sorry that I'm late, second THIS WAS A STATEMENT HOLY COW! The first time I watched this my jaw was just dropped I was legit SPEECHLESS, THEY ALL ARE SO STUNNING- the only thing missing is Soojin (she would've ate, hatred CUBE- and now learning that she loves Marilyn Monroe so much makes it even worse, but I did hear that the cartoon was supposed to be her?) I legit don't know who looked best they all killed it and when I saw our Maknae Shuhua my heart stopped I needed CPR because WOW she looked PHENOMENAL and her Vocals have improved so much just stunning, Soyeon always just WOW she can step on me and when she started taking off her shirt I was just even more stunned, Minnie ATE her vocals holy cow and just her whole look I just love everything about it and her bangs just UGH, Miyeon is so underrated HOLY COW her Vocals always hit me like a truck and her Visuals- (WHY DO THEY ALL LOOK SO GOOD IN BLONDE) just everything, and Yuqi with the blonde and her DEEP voice AND HER GROWL she can step on me and I'd say Thank You! Anyways I can't wait for you to react to more (G) I-DLE such as more Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships! I can't wait for more Content from you and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy Pagan!

The explaination why nxde was made: soyeon made the song nxde bc in korea men will search 𝕟𝕦𝒹🇪 but now if you search it in korea gidle will pop up instead soyeon is so smart making nxde
