I recently started watching her old song (2003- 2013) You will be shock most of her hit song with these music director.
As a Maharastrian I feel marathi songs are really underrated.... like an autotuned song will get viral but a good marathi song will never....and it's disheartening. Btw liked this video so muchh! Also listen to songs by Ajay Atul from movie Jogva.

Sawaal Jawaab is not new. It's a folk style in itself. It's a part of "Tamasha", and the format is of questions and answers. One lady asks a question in a poetic form and the other one answers it, followed by her own opposing question. And at the end of this song, the protagonist remembers her father. Because the answer to the question posed to her is Father. You'll find this style of songs in old marathi films.

@@tradingjunction5003 lol the composition of bai gaa was intense, so ultimately singing had to be like that and it doesnt mean she sang better than shreya, which is higly clowning of you to think so.. shreya had a similar song as bai gaa named "mera gham" music by AR RAHMAN.. listen to that song to see how she would have pulled of bai gaa but i am happy that she didnt rather sang a lavni chandra and romantic to chaand rati that might sound easy to listen but requires sheer amount of range, right emotions and powerful voice that arya could never.. on the other hand jab saiyaan is a masterpiece, and the way she emoted and delivered each word with right nuances..
see the diversity from chandra, to to chand rati to jab saiyaan.. even i would suggest you listen her latest bengali song (bhalobashar morshum) and a telugu(mayava chayava) and i believe she is the best contender to win national award..

Chandra, Bai G and Sawal Jawab all three are Lavni... Chandra is 'khadi Lavni'(Standing Lavni) , Bai G is 'Baithi Lavni' (Sitting Lavani)
Chandra as you said is a character defining song, Bai G is remembering Krishna in her mind and adoring him by seeing her loved one (Dawlat deshmane - male lead and love interest of chandra)
In Chirabharni its a haldi ceremony but as the video shows Chandra is unhappy - she is tortured to get married with that old lustful man and she loves someone else (Dawlat Deshmane of course)

Nope!! Chirabharni is a song where there is a ritual where she is being married to Krishna so that she doesn't have to serve as prostitute.. but she was ra*ed in the name of suhag raat.. and it was not even a person that was decided in the first place..
And it was way before she even met Daulat.. it was when her father died and she was sent to her maushi to perform as a dancer so that she can earn but she didn't want to be a prostitute so this ritual was suggested by her maushi..
Ajay atul are very thoughtful persons also. They use so many instruments not only for their music require it but also for musicians who are playing these instruments have some respected work. Otherwise their art will go unappreciated in this techno era where you can produce any sounds in computer...

I am a Marathi but believe me Chandra song could have been better in terms of voice .... This song is yet to find a singer who can uplift this song to another level .... Bai ga is perfect delivery but the downside is replica of shreya ghoshal type voice....

She is not any ordinary lady, she is AADISHAKTI (goddess) for world or for everyone. She is better half of Lord SHIVA, and to whom we call PARVATI Mata.
She actually created this baby with use of some paste from his own body, we call him as GANPATI,. To whom we people worship by praising his work before beginning of any new important work.
[Actual story - She took something of herself, the sandal paste that was on her body, mixed it with the local soil, made it in the form of a baby and breathed life into it.]

I don't have much knowledge about music but just few things to be corrected here is:
1) Sawaal jawab is not lawani, you can search for it for proper explanation.
2) Chirabharni is not transitioning from 7BPM to 8BPM, it is transitioning from 7/8 Time signature to 4/4 Time signature. Time signature and BPM are completely different things. Again, a great video brother, no hate, let's educate each other❤️💯
