CORRECTION: GOVT CONTRIBUTION IS 14% OF BASIC+DA. AND AS PER MY CALCULATION FOR 4600 GP, NET NPS ACCUMULATED WILL BE 15-20 CRORE. Which might be abt 2 crore of present worth. And which will fetch about 40k permonth pension (40k of present worth). But the catch is NPS pension will not increase along with DA, as it increases for GPF EMPLOYEES

A person who joined as an officer Group A or B would have got much more than 90k in the time of retirement 12 lakh may or may not be possible but his calculations are definately to the point

But sad reality is as time passes 80% of the work will be automated plus SSC along with most portion of govt jobs will be privatized and vacancies will keep on decreasing. This is my personal opinion.
why would government privatize it's own ministry? Sounds funny. And government is not dumb to outsource the work to private companies like tcs Infoysis etc.. because all the work in the government ministries are very very sensitive and obviously government would never outsource the work.
@@aayushthakur6159 Automation. If it can be automated then it will be eventually and govt doesn't have expertise in the digital area but these companies do. It's already happening. Passport, income tax, GST and many more. So sensitive information is shared already...obviously certain rules and regulations are there..🙂
@@priyamroy2032 All the work that are outsourced to these IT companies such as tcs Infosys wipro etc are of Website Development, support and maintenance. No government ministry has outsourced any internal work that are being done by income tax officers, and commissioner Definately things will get automated in future. We can say that contractual jobs would increase in future, skill based preferences would be given, this is what i can predict as of now. Permanent Jobs will surely reduce in future no doubt about that, because already things like faceless assesment have been introduced and implemented in income tax department which actually reduces the requirement of staff. But it will take atleast next 15-20 Years.
