I worked for almost 3 years in cbi from june 2016 to October 2018. Finally I left CBI and Joined Excise Inspector in 2018. Presently I am posted in Customs commissionerate under Ghy Zone. You are true indeed.

Try to get income tax in delhi. That will ensure that ur transfers will be in delhi zone itself.

Yes, In Income Tax Office, they do provide resources. We are alloted Toyota Innova for field work.

Cbi mai departments change kr skte hai ya nhi, mtlb mai agr chahta hun anti corruption mai jane ka ya cyber crime.aur ye special crime branch mai perform ke base pe select krte hai ya unki choice ki bjhese lena pdta hai

The job is pretty much similar with an IT inspector. Excepting the smaller variations, the job profile is almost same upto 90%. And I don't see your first question. Where have you posted it?

1. Which Branch of CBI is best out of 7 branches
2. U talk about delhi posting but I hear that when almost training over then they asked us about posting preference . Something like 3 preferences. But we don't put Delhi in over preference then delhi is not come in our joli.
3. When we search about CBI branches in india then Gujarat have only one branch which is Gandhinagar and only ACB branch so it is possible to get home branch.
3. Local police respect CBI sub inspector or not for example someone happen wrong with us and when we go to the police station and then you know all and all.

4. How they select for different different branch like ACB ,SCB etc..
1. Best in what sense? Everybody is different. So only you can make a decision what is best for you, what is not.
2. You don't get to decide your posting location. You can fill in 3 choices, they may or may not give you that.
3. Its possible to get home branch but while you are in CBI, don't think that you will get to be at your preferred posting location. You will most likely not get Gujraat in your first posting. It is very small branch, not much people there. So forget it.
4. If you conduct is good and you respect them, then they will respect you. If expect them to salute you, then forget any respect. Its mutual respect give and take.
5. There is no procedure to allot branches in CBI. Some component of it depends on CBI Training. DIG may recommend some branch for you for eg. if you are good in computers, then you may get cyber crime branch.

Sir, what are the possibilities that a SI in CBI be posted in Mumbai zone..?? Word is that almost all the sub inspectors are posted only in Delhi.. Please can you clarify this confusion in a single video..
Not all SIs are posted there. 1 person of my batch was posted in Mumbai whose house was also nearby that. So if you fill in Mumbai, they may consider your request.

There's no concept of state CBI. CBI works all over the country.

Hila kr rakh diya sir soochta tha ki cbi bahut powerfull hai but Bahar he power full hai apne Agency me toh koi respect he nhi hai.
I am a CBI SI aspirant. But, I'm afraid I might have slight colour blindness. Will that cause problem in the medical test? (In the CGL 2019 vacancy list, surprisingly, the post has been marked as 'suitable' for colour blind candidates but it wasn’t seen in previous notifications. Does that mean this year all the colourblind candidates are also eligible? )
Secondly, if I put CBI SI as my 1st preference and fail in the medical test, will my candidature be considered for the 2nd preference?
Color blindness has always been acceptable in CBI. Its not an issue now and it has never been an issue before. So you can be sure that you are covered from that front. And Secondly, yes, if you failed to qualify the medical test, you won't be considered for any other post since the SSC has already done its work assigning you to CBI. What happens next is between CBI and You. So fill in CBI only if you qualify the medical criteria.
@@cbivsincometax I'm sorry but I get conflicting responses to this question. Some selected CBI SIs say it’s accepted, some say it isn't. I'm at a fix. I can't let go of this dream and also can't run the risk of being disqualified in the medical, i.e., getting no post in the end.
@@m.rubain5405 If the official advertisement and the word of a former CBI SI can't convince you, I don't know what will.
@@cbivsincometax I didn't mean to offend you. But, please hear me out.
1. In previous vacancy list (of cgl 2019 and cgl exam of other years) the post of CBI SI for colorblind candidates was marked as "UNSUITABLE". But, suddenly, in the latest vacancy list (of cgl 2019), the post is shown as " SUITABLE" for CB candidates. I am not sure if it's an inadvertent error or not.
2. Some CBI SIs say colorblind people are accepted. Some CBI SIs say the opposite. They say in the medical tests, colorblindness test is mandatorily conducted and people with this deficiency are disqualified. I don't mean to counter you in an offensive way but these two people I spoke to are also newly appointed CBI SIs and they are quite forceful on the matter of disqualification. There was, however, one other CBI SI who said the same thing you said.
3. I submitted RTI applications to both SSC HQ and CBI seeking clarification. Neither answered.
I hope you understand my dilemma and provide a way out. I am quite confused. Please help me.
@@m.rubain5405 ok. I understand. As far as I remember, in my medical form, there was no column of color blindness and I was not even tested for the same. So if u can get their medical proformas, then u will get a clear picture.

Bhai Itni bhi buri nahi hai. CISF SI se to jyada acchi hai CBI SI. Meri baaton mein aakar koi galat decision mat le lena nahi to pacchtana padega. Soch samajh kar join karna. Tmhara selection ho gaya hai kya CISF SI mein?

No. I didn't carry gun at all. Didn't need that. and post choice depends on your personal preferences.

I don't understand. What do you mean by administrative division? SI and above are in executive posts so they do the field job. LDC and other clerks do the desk job which involve preparing salaries, office supply and maintenance, leaves of the officials, record of cases etc.

Yeah. you can take your bike and claim allowance @ Rs. 8/- per km.

I don't think there is issue of knock-knee. I have seen one guy in cbi who was knock-kneed. And you have good chance of getting Delhi posting. You can stay there for upto 20-25 years.

They are your juniors in post but they are not under you. You can get done very basic work from them liky photocopy, file movement from here to there but everything else you have to do by yourselves. The constables are usually busy with the work assigned by your superious like SP and DIG.

In 2012, i filled in ITI, EXCISE, CVC, RAILWAY and the CBI. it was my 5th choice and was allotted to me.

@@anuswt2643 In income tax department, you can choose to be on a desk job, citing your problem. Or you may also go for CBI SI as they won't give you much field work.
